Set on the western shore of Tyrol’s largest lake – the Achensee – this luxurious family-run hotel radiates a homey atmosphere surrounded by a stunning mountain setting.
Score from 232 reviews Excellent
Nice room with beautiful view from the balcony. Friendly staffs. Location is super. Excellent food at the restaurant as well as the breakfast.
No AC. What's wrong with those thin pillows at all hotels we stayed in Austria. The waiter at the restaurant didn't understand English at all so unfortunately there was misunderstanding.
Very dissatisfied!!! We paid for 2 nights - but left at morning after 1 night without any compensation.
The location ,clear water ,mountains,
One of your male waiter was rude we left the restaurant ,went to another place had our dinner, that is loss of 150 Euros ( business ).Just because we were brown ( but highly educated than your most of other guests).
The hotel overlooks the Achen lake which is really beautiful. Very nice breakfast. Free parking places.
Very strange designer decisions (blue bath and WC, etc). Last winter we stayed in the same town in the cheaper hotel which felt much more comfortable and friendly. No WiFi signal in the rooms. The restaurant is situated in the separate building which is app. 30m from the hotel building.
Hotel location. Pertisau is a great destination for hiking, swimming and exploring the Tyrol. The serving staff in the restaurant and housekeeping staff who were all friendly and efficient.
Reception staff mostly (not all) arrogant, officious in enforcing riles and helpful only if pushed. Not welcoming or overly flexible. Spoiled the stay.
The food was good, the location and view from the restaurant were great. The room was comfortable and clean. Balcony was nice. We watched parasailers most of the time. The view was nice, but definitely not a lake view. Easy walking distance to the docks. The trip to the hotel was great; we took the Achenseebahn up to the dock at Seespitz, and got on the boat to Pertisau. The trip is highly recommended. The hotel is nice enough, but if you want a lake view, I would definitely specify that.
This hotel is mostly NOT on the lake. The restaurant is, and the reception desk is, so I guess they can get by with calling it a lakefront property, but most of the rooms probably do not have a lake view. Our room was quite a trek up the hill from reception. Hotel was not signed very well, so I am glad I asked a policeman where the hotel was as soon as we got off the boat. I was surprised the town in general is not really centered around the lake, but stretches more down the valley toward the mountains, which are gorgeous.
