Sin duda, las vistas desde la habitación !Qué lago! El hecho de salir y estar en la misma plaza. Buen desayuno. La calefacción no funcionaba muy bien pero nos pusieron un calefactor eléctrico en cuanto lo dijimos. |

Es una construcción tipica en el pueblo medieval de Halstatt (el mas bonito de Austria) frente a un lago de aguas limpias y cristalinas rodeado de montañas. Una parte del hotel tiene vistas al lago y se puede ver el precioso amanecer en las montañas y la otra parte vistas a la plaza, repleta de casas antiguas llenas de flores. No puede haber un lugar más precioso. Un parking lo haría perfecto. Hay varios en el pueblo, pero a 100-200m. Es posible, eso si, llevar el coche hasta la puerta del hotel para dejar las maletas. De todas maneras, el hecho de que por el pueblo circulen pocos vehículos, lo hace más bonito y tranquilo. |

la situación es perfecta, en el centro mismo de la plaza, las vistas al lago impresionantes, antiguo pero con ese aire elegante de otra epoca pedimos la cena en el restaurante y cuando pedimos el postre dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada y nos dejaros a mitad de cena, sin nisiquiera ofrecernos café, nos parecio algo raro en en un restaurante de esa categoria, al dia siguiente se disculparón en recepción |

only location(lake side room) It was cold, but air heating was out. We asked hotel stuff to turn on the heater,but she didn't do anything about that. There is no shower curtain with buthtub. No lift. |

The view from our terrace was spectacular, as was the food in their dining room. We were in Europe for 10 days and it was the best meal we had. Parking!!!!! It should be made very clear when booking this hotel that if you do not reserve parking in advance, there is no parking in the city.The hall light to go up and down the stairs did not stay on. In this case, it was a bit dangerous as the stairs were many and the hotel is old. Regarding the price, I guess you are paying for the view as the actual property is over priced. |

While the hotel itself is overpriced and requires extensive refurbishment, the position is the best available and the views from the hotel are absolutely stunning The furniture in the room deserves to be thrown out and replaced with new up to date pieces.the hotel really needs a major makeover particularly for the price being charged. |

Right on the lake with nice porches and great stunning views. Food was very good and staff was friendly and helpful. Nice village with interesting shops. Lots of interesting things in area: Salt caves, local museums and churches, Celtic sites etc> Hotel is older and very charming There is parking but not much right in town.. Worth the trouble to stay and enjoy the town |

Our room was on the top floor with a view of the lake. The view was breathtaking, better than the postcards, indescribable. The room was nicely appointed, airy, roomy. It was a notch below luxury, but very nice. The buffet breakfast compared very favourably to others we had in Austria and Germany. And they have a lovely lakeside restaurant. Considering everything, well worth it for us. Front desk staff lacked a little polish, but we got over it. Parking is adventure you need to be prepared for. Apparently, the hotel has a few (!) spots, but most of its customers park at a municipal lot outside the historic centre of town and walk in. That's about a 500 metres so you can ask for a temporary access pass to get your car inside the old town to bring in your luggage, then drive it our to the lot. |

We had a room on the top floor with a small balcony and a killer view of Hallstatt See and the mountains. The buffet breakfasts were very good with a very good selection of hot items, breads, cereal, meats, cheeses, and juices. Excellent restaurant for dinner too. The waiter was great! There is no elevator (which is understandable given the age and construction of the building). |

Nice, clean, friendly staff and comfortable. Extremely noisy especially at night and early morning yet too hot to keep windows closed ... need to cool/ventilate the rooms so the windows could be closed if necessary.Internet available would be nice as well. |

Entrance door was locked after 10 or 11pm and nobody answered. I needed to ask the person in near bar to call someone to open it. the number of available staff is less and I had to call and wait a bit longer in reception to check-in and check-out. |
