This small, intimate and luxuriously furnished hotel offers a high level of comfort and personal service in a traditional atmosphere. The individually designed rooms are tastefully furnished and feature beautiful curtains, oil paintings, crystal chandeliers and oriental carpets. The rich breakfast buffet is served on the terrace when the weather's nice. The hotel also features a bar and Café Rose’s. One of the finest examples of Pörtschach’s turn-of-the-century villas, the Seerose first opened its doors to the public over 50 years ago. The tennis arena and the shores of Lake Wörth are only a few steps from Hotel Seerose. Klagenfurt Airport is a 10-minute drive away. An der Rezeption wird Englisch gesprochen obwohl wir in Österreich als Österreicher Urlaub gemacht haben. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders - alles vom Hofer. Die Wurst war viel zu dick und hatte eine komische Konsistenz, die Weckerln waren geschmacklos und Obst oder Gemüse gab es gar keines. Das Hotel war sehr alt, renovierungsbedürftig und hat ziemlich gemuffelt. Überhaupt ist auf den Fotos das vordere Gebäude abgebildet während man aber in einem eher nicht so schönen Hinterhaus untergebracht ist. Es liegt direkt auf der Hauptstraße und ist daher sehr hellhörig. Auf dem Zimmer gab es weder ORF1 noch ORF2, was für ein Hotel in Österreich auch recht merkwürdig ist.

Zimmer interessant ausgestattet, Sogar Küchenzeile vorhanden Der Übernachtungsbetrag wurde bereits beim Einchecken verlangt. Bei Zahlung mit Kreditkarte wurde der Preis, den wir über Booking.com vereinbart hatten um 4 % erhöht ?!

Gute Lage und guter Preis Kein österreichisches Fernsehen, für Badeurlaub nicht geeignet, da zuwenig Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Badesachen.

Heel aardige prettige mensen , gezellig en huiselijke sfeer. Goed ontbijt, met goed weer heerlijk buiten. Jammer dat er geen lift is , maar zo blijf je wel fit !! Een beetje afwisseling in ontbijt zou wel prettig zijn !
