This traditional hotel has warm hospitality, cozy comfort and amenities for fitness and wellbeing.

It serves excellent cuisine and has one of the most beautiful sunsets in Europe.

As of May 2006, the Seerose and the world famous attractions in the Salzkammergut Lake District will make for a great vacation.

It is the attention to detail that makes a vacation at the new Hotel Seerose an unforgettable experience. It has a unique location right on the lake shore. Guests can enjoy diving into the refreshing blue waters of one of the cleanest lakes in Austria, right from their balcony.

The new indoor pool has a lake view.

The fitness and spa oasis: 90°C sauna, organic sauna, infrared heat cabin, cold water fountain, heated benches, rest area, indoor pool with counter current facility, direct access to the lake, solarium, fitness room, massage.

Indoor amenities: lounge area with open fireplace.

Outdoor amenities: grounds, terrace, hotel's private beach, changing cabins, lounge chairs, umbrellas, small play ground.

The hotel offers a transportation service from the train station or the airport to the hotel. The price for the transportation is EUR 50 (round trip).

Food & beverage

Restaurants: has a menu with regional specialties and marvelous fish dishes, with an integrated pizzeria. Split-level dining room where all tables enjoy a lake view. Seating for approx. 95 guests in the dining room, a further 36 seats on the porch, 30 on the wooden terrace and 100 seats on the grounds right next to the lake under the shade of chestnut trees.

All 31 rooms are nicely furnished and all have a balcony. The balconies to the lake side of the hotel lie directly over the water.

Area information

Hotel Seerose is based right in front of the Fuschllake and minutes away from the center of town where you find pharmacies, shops and cafes. Every hour there are transportation services by public buses to Salzburg and its surrounding lakes.

A walking path leads you around the lake, which takes approximately 3 hours. It is right on the hotel's doorstep.

There are various public beaches dotted around the lake. Racquetball, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, trekking and cycling are all possible in the area, as well as the summer sled run and children's play grounds.

The Hotel Mohrenwirt is the ideal starting point for day trips on winding and romantic country roads through beautiful landscapes which are part of UNESCO's Cultural Heritage of the World.

St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang, Bad Ischl and Hallstatt are just a few of the well-known villages surrounding Fuschl am See.

It was well priced and having booked Bed and Breakfast I was really impressed that we could upgrade to Halfboard as we felt it suited us on a day to day basis. 14 Euros extra for a 5 course menu. Also liked the Sauna and Pool facilities and the location is amazing. We were lucky with the weather too. Also helps that the bus stops right outside the hotel so didn't have to travel by car. Anonymous Solo traveler Germany June 16, 2011	Besonders gefallen haben mir die Lage und mein Balkon, der direkt über dem Wassespiegel lag: ich hatte direkten Blick auf die Fische (also sehr klares Wasser) und die Enten. Das Frühstücksangebot ist großzügig, die a la carte Gerichte von sehr guter Qualität. Obwohl das Hotel in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone liegt, sind die Geräusche der gegenüberliegenden Uferstrasse nicht zu überhören, insbesondere nicht beim frühmorgendlichen Berufsverkehr Richtung Salzburg. Schade!!! Es gibt keine Minibar und keinen Zimmerservice, so dass man auch für Kleinigkeiten das Restaurant aufsuchen muss. Did you find this review helpful?	10
