food for children should be better, they should consider that nit everybody likes sauces already mixed up with the vegetables, specially kids section, therefore our children did not eat anything else then chips and boaring tomatoe pasta for a whole week

Excellent location, superb comfort, great playroom and convenient baby sitting services

Food quality was way below expectation, not to mention the ourageously slow service. Water temperature in the pool was not optimal (cold for kidds).

great location, very nice spa, very nice breakfast, acceptable lunch snack

small dinner meals, no one to help with luggage on arrival and at departure, very small room on the top floor of the old building, very old looking bathroom, the spa opening hours are too short (why not start earlier, why not close later)

    location, wellness area

the hotel room doesn't correspond with the pictures on both Falkensteiner web page and Booking portal (there are three types of a standard room, however, the websites show only the best one) the quality and variety of food is very mediocre (very often courses come served cold, portions are ridiculously small) the hotel personnel is very disorganised and slow (on several unfortunate occations when we had to ask them to attend to us, they showed lack of tact and helpfulness) almost all urgency situations were not immediately dealt with (dangerous amounts of snow on the roof not being removed at all, insufficient number of parking places, out of order ski deposit boxes)

Perfect location for skiing, excellent hotel facilities - spa, pool, nice family room.

Staff at the dining area was very nice, some of them right witty. The location right near a lift and slope from the back side of the hotel is to be appreciated. The downside of the location is 10km climbing road, 4x4 car or chains was a must during heavy snow fall, despite the winter care for the road was on maximum capabilities. Excellent fitness and spa facilities (beware of a flock of small children all around the place!).

Quality of the breakfast menu was disputable for the most of the time. Small portions of dinner dishes could be made up by second round from children warm buffet. Overall I had a feeling hotel suffered from its large size - it was just too much people at one place, at one time (during high holiday season). We deemed there were economies behind rotation of the of food stocks (e.g. breakfast stocks used for dinner appetizers, similar desserts in two consequtive evenings). Two parking houses were full enitrely, parking outside was a hassle during heavy snow fall days. Disappointing was missing reception staff help with luggage unload after arrival. The reception staff did not help or even responded on our natural requests (arrival parking, ski depot space, mellow bed mattress change, snow shovel for parked car release) - just promised to do so each time. The room toilet allure had a bit far from the room rate.
