The traditional Hotel Sonnenspitze is located in the centre of Ehrwald, surrounded by the mountains of the Zugspitz Arena. It offers free Wi-Fi access in public areas and free parking. The Sonnenhang Ski Area is a 5-minute walk away. All rooms feature wooden furnishings, cable TV, and a bathroom with bright tiles and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a seating area. Even though it was the (very) quiet season, the staff were attentive, the buffet breakfast was well laid out, etc. We were expected and well catered too. The half board option was excellent value. The views from our room were wonderful, and the assistance to see a Dr was appreciated. All good, although wifi to rooms rather than just public areas would be good - even cheap B&B establishments now offer this to guests.

Everything. The staff was very friendly and it was wonderful (and inexpensive) I liked everything about the hotel. I circled the Zugspitze on a mountain bike the next day- it was very convenient to the hotel. It's a great place to visit in the summer.

The Hotel is situated in a wonderful location with great view. Sauna was shut down, when we checked Inn at 7:30 PM. Even after requesting the reception, who asked the Manager but he did not show any intrest to providing us this service. NO!!! We were very tired after the days excersion and wanted to relax in the Sauna for 15 minutes. Certainly the hotel does not go out of the way to fulfill guest needs..Such factor differentiates between and Good and an Aaverage hotel. So i would not go back to the hotel again. Room Carpet had quite a few Dogs hair, otherwise the room was clean.

the free upgrade, thank you! comfortable bed and clean rooms!! central location and free parking in front of the hotel. You should definitely try out the restaurant, they serve great food! loved the breakfast buffet!!!

uitstekend hotel, mooie grote kamer, goede douche, prima diner (bij de prijs inbegrepen) brood bij ontbijt was heel oud (was wel op een zondag)

zeer goede en professionele ontvangst en prettige bediening in restaurant, ook de kamer is ons zeer goed bevallen icm de luxe badkamer toezicht in sauna ontbreekt (kleine kinderen) en het aanvullen van de (bad)-handdoeken werd niet gedaan.

Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Mooi comfortabel hotel. Ruime 2-tweepersoonskamer met apart gedeelte (vide) voor slapen. Vanuit kamer mooi uitzicht over de bergen en het dorp. Kleinschalig en niet te grote plaats. Het hotel en de ski-omgeving wordt over het algemeen veel bezocht door families. Bij het ontbijt heb ik croissants gemist.

Erg vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Hotel heeft een zeer gezellige en warme sfeer. Het halfpensionaanbod voorziet in een uitstekend ontbijtbuffet en een lekker dinneraanbod.

Exzellentes Frühstück, sehr gemütliche Sofaecken mit Kamin in der Lobby, zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal. Praktisch ist auch die Jause am Nachmittag! Für die Hauptsaison könnte der Skiraum etwas größer ausfallen.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute Lage, tolle Natur, super Aussicht, gute Wellnesseinrichtung, Spitzenessen. Auf jeden Fall Halbpension buchen, das 5 Gängemenue lohnt sich!! Fahrräder konnten kostenlos benutzt werden. Insgesamt ein Superservice. Danke, es war ein Superurlaub in Ehrwald.

Für eine Gruppe Motorradfahrer ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Das Hotel hat eien Tiefgarage mit Aufzug in die Etagen. Halbpension ist gut und die Zimmer sauber. Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Très bien situé, au sein d'un très joli village. Balcons donnant une vue magnifique sur les montagnes et la vallée en direction de Reutte; petit déjeuner extrêmement copieux; personnel souriant. Il y a peut-être moyen d'améliorer les possibilités de parking.
