Situated amidst the Dachstein-Tauern holiday region, this hotel enjoys a sunny and quiet south-facing location west of Schladming. Hotel Sonnschupfer has an outdoor pool with sunbathing area, its own sports grounds for soccer, volleyball and basketball, a petting zoo, llamas, ponies for riding, and mountain bikes. The house features a TV room, a ping-pong room, a newly designed sauna area, a sun terrace, and an internet corner. All prices include half-board, which comprises a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course dinner with a choice of main course and a salad buffet. Many products come from the hotel's farm. A barbecue evening is hosted once a week. In winter you can reach the surrounding ski areas quickly and easily from the nearby ski bus stop. The Planai and the Reiteralm are about a 10-minute drive away. A cross-country ski run is only 550 yards away. In summer Hotel Sonnschupfer organizes hikes to its own mountain pasture and is an ideal starting point for extended walks, hikes and bike tours. Nice new hotel in 5-minute drive from town, with comfortable and stylish rooms. The dinner was very tasty, better than you would expect in a 3- star hotel. Staff is helpful and fast. There were hardly any English-speaking tv channels available in the room.

Stunning views,large comfortable newly refurbished bedrooms.Modern high quality decor throughout hotel.Extremely clean.Very efficient and friendly staff.Short drive to Schladming-very good location to drive to the various fabulous walking or skiing areas.Breakfast was very good with large selection of breads Other guests smoke on their balconies.Meals were standard Austrian fare-not very exciting-just our opinion-all the other guests were very happy.

Staying at Sonnschupfer was an excellent choice! Hotel has modern design, great rooms with comfy beds, balcony, large bathroom. The atmosphere at the hotel is very friendly and you can feel they do all the work with love and joy. All meals were delicious and nice choice every day. Vegetarians appreciate the option even for them!

Alles aan het hotel was goed. Lekker ontbijt en veel keuze. Ook het diner s'avonds was uitstekend. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. We gaan zeker nog eens terug. PS:hotel is een aanrader voor rolstoelgebruikers.Kamers en hotel zijn volledig aangepast + lift.

Das Hotel und der Wellnessbereich sind sehr sauber. Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Aus der Außensauna hat man über ein großes Panoramafenster einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Planai. Nichts, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Alles war super. War überrascht dass das Einzelzimmer auch so ein schönes und geräumiges und komfortables Badzimmer hatte. Auch positiv fand ich dass man von einem Skibus direkt beim Hotel abgeholt wurde. Nach intensiven Skitagen brauche ich kein Apres Ski ich brauche Ruhe oder höchstens ein bisschen Wellness all das kriegt man in diesem Hotel. Nichts.
