Hotel St. Georg  

Very cozy hotel, staff is friendly and helpful, great food and service! Good location within a few minutes’ walk away from the town center and a 3 minutes’ drive to the Schmitten Bahn. Spa area is also good equipped and clean.

Internet works poorly in the room.

Nice price and comfortable room, the staff is very kind and willing to help. The location is good, the whole is out of expectation.

The wifi is only available in the lobby only.

Easy walk down to the town and lake front. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was good.

We had to ask twice to get the cot set up in the room. When we first arrived we told them it wasn't set up and they promised to do it while we were out - we were gone for an hour but it wasn't done. We went down to dinner and asked again and it was done by the time dinner was done, lucky we didn't need to put her down for an afternoon sleep. The room was also really hot at night even though the heater was turned off.

Charming with a nice touch of class. Included an excellent breakfast with omelet station each morning and one free dinner for both of us.

No ice machine and they were reluctant to give us ice from the bar, but they did.

- very poor staff ( specially the old woman in office next to the reception) she is very rude - the water was cold, and in the first day i took a cold shwer, when i complained to the reception i dicovered that they switched off the heaters !!!! - there is no coffee maker in the room, and when i asked the reception about that the old woman in the office she replied in a rood way that all the hotels are not providing coffee makers !!!!!

Great location overlooking Zellner See, and close to everything in the resort. Set bed,breakfast and evening meal menu was really good, and all service was very good.

Not an awful lot to like. Bathrooms had been refurbished. Reasonable quantity of food if lacking in quality. Good choice of wines although expensive. Free parking right outside.

Initial room allocated to us dirty and disgusting, especially balcony area (actually recess in roof) We would not have stayed. Eventually got a different room but not the junior suite with balcony booked and paid for. Food mediocre at best with an obvious ambundance of tinned/bought in dishes. Some courses inedible. No suitable sit out area apart from shaded area by restaurant.TVs in room old and poor performing. Towels could do with replacement.Very noisy from stream and busy road out front. Very much low rent package holiday venue much squeezed for margin by owners. Very misleading Website. Definately would not recommend.

The hotel is in a quiet location, but close to the town. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The evening meal, while good, is 'cordon bleu' (small portions) and may not be to everyones liking. A day hiking in the mountains can work quite an appetite!

Great location 5 minutes up hill from town centre, so very quiet location. We booked a suite which had a lounge area, hallway, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and balcony with lake view - very spacious. Very comfortable beds. Reception and dining room very traditional, cosy and welcoming. Staff were excellent - polite, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent - 5 or 6 course evening meals - beautifully presented and very tasty. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Could do with updating their TVs (small old portables) - only wanted to catch up on the bbc news occasionally but the first set we had didn't work properly and the second set worked but the remote was held together with sellotape so had difficulty adjusting volume etc. Felt I should mention this, although it doesn't affect my decision in giving the hotel 10 out of 10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel St.Georg. The 5 course meals (included in the 1/2 board price) were excellent; the dining room was lovely and the service was superb. The staff was very gracious and efficient; Karl, in particular, was so helpful . The personal touches of a family owned and operated hotel were evident. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Hotel St.Georg to anyone travelling to Zell am see!

хороший отель, всем рекомендую. прекрасная кухня, внимательный персонал, удобное расположение (3 минуты ходьбы до подъемника City Express). не дешево конечно, но качество всегда стоит денег.

бассейн и всё, что с ним связано, требует хорошего ремонта. ребёнок купаться отказался - вода была холодной. да и я не полез элементарно из гигиенических соображений. очень странно работает wi-fi в номерах. его натурально приходится "ловить". из 200 с лишним каналов тв русских я так и не нашел. может плохо искал... ну и цены в баре, как же без них. стакан молока за 2,5 евро, здесь без комментариев.

Lage Super, Freundlichkeit gut, Service ausgezeichnet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Essen ausgezeichnet, die Küche ist auch Flexibel beim Essen.

There was a very personal touch. They made each guest feel they were very important. We had half board and the food and selection were excellent. It was one of the best stays in our month long trip.

What a great hotel! This was the most expensive hotel of our trip, but it was worth every Euro! They advertise that their hotel is the quietest hotel in Zell am See, and that is true. As advertised, we "slept like a log"! We were so glad that we did not book a hotel right on the lake because of the traffic and train noise. The hotel is conveniently located-- a five minute walk to the town and lake. We had a private balcony with a view over roof tops to the mountains and lake. Our room was a corner room, so when we opened the window and door to the balcony, we had a wonderful cross breeze. The food was exceptional--a huge breakfast buffet with eggs made to order and a top rate dinner with a great salad buffet. The staff spoke good English and was very courteous and helpful.

Everything about this hotel was great!
