St. Oswalderhof    

I canceled the second room but it didnt register online but the owners still made me pay for the second room even though it was never even touched and the place was empty. I think me and my friend were the only people staying the week we went. We didnt see a single other person staying an yet we were still charged even though the room wasn't needed.

The hotel was clean and fresh, nicely decorated with a lovely outside area where you could see straight across the lake. The balcony had a great view and was excellent for relaxing at night! The staff were welcoming, warm, friendly and helpful. They gladly answered any questions on the area and suggested a few nice days out for us to take.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at St Oswalderhof, all of the staff were lovely and would often come over for a chat. The room had an amazing view over the lake and Portschach. We were a few minutes walk from the train station and a free area for swimming in the lake. I think it is the friendliest stay in a hotel I've ever had......and they have amazing home-made apple juice :p Definitely recommend it.

The hotel is pretty close to the private cabin by the lake, which belongs to the hotel and which is available to all hotel guests to use. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel rather at home. We were late on few occasions to the breakfast, but nevertheless we were offered most of things that you'd expect to have for breakfast: tea, coffee, buns, butter, jam and home-made jam, cheese and other selection of spreads. Generally, the atmosphere is the hotel is relaxed and you never feel rushed... The hotel is about 1km from the city centre, where all shops and restaurants are. It was not a problem for us as we had a hire car and parking spaces are not a problem.

One downside is that there is no WiFi, even though it is advertised. The only access to internet was from a PC at the reception desk, but even that was at less than turtle speed. I really needed Internet and had to rely on my cellphone expensive data connection.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich! Das Frühstück war als Buffet aufgebaut und es war für jeden etwas dabei - noch dazu sehr lecker.

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind nicht auf neuestem Stand - etwas veraltet, aber durchaus rein.

Die Nähe zum Wörthersee war prima und die Benutzung vom eigenen Steg vorteilhaft. Die Hotelbesitzer waren sehr freundlich, stets für einen da und konnten alle Fragen beantworten. Die Möglichkeit Fahrräder vor Ort umsonst auszuleihen war auch super. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Eventuell könnten die sanitären Einrichtungen, obwohl sehr sauber, überholt werden, denn diese sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Simpatia dei proprietari, buona accoglienza. Buona la posizione, vista sul lago. La struttura è circondata da un frutteto di mele, molto caratteristico! Nonostante non sia nuovissima, la camera che ci hanno assegnato era molto curata nei dettagli per renderla accogliente e con una terrazza molto spaziosa! Siamo stati molto bene.

Jedná se o útulný pension. Interiér - společných prostor samotného pensionu je velmi pěkně zařízený a vyzdobený. Je překrásný výhled a posezení u pensionu. Od personálu získáte vyčerpávající informace pro turistiku, doporučené výlety, pomoc při jejich hledání , ....

Vlastní pokoje mají poněkud starší vybavení. Za zvláštní pozornost stojí ručníky, které připomínají spíše smirkové plátno než měkkoušké froté. Škoda že chybí lednice a místo sprchového koutu je vana - sedací. Upřednostnila bych sprchový kout.

Sehr freundlicher netter Empfang, haben sehr viele gute Informationen bzgl, Walking - Wander Touren bekommen, Der Steg am See mit den Umkleidekabinen inkl. Sonnenliegen waren kostenlos zu benützen. Auch der Ausblick von der Pension auf den See war sehr wunderschön, da nimmt man gerne die paar Schritte zum See in Kauf. Es war ein Super entspannendes Wochenende. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Familiäre Atmosphäre

mooie locatie, mooi uitzicht. gezellige gastvrouw, rustige ligging. dicht bij strandje aan het meer.

verouderde kamers, voornamelijk de badkamer. ( nog met zitbad) .door ouderdom niet meer netjes. ontbijt simpel. Het was te ver om naar het plaatsje te lopen.

het personeel is er heel vriendelijk, altijd bereid om op een vraag zo goed mogelijk te antwoorden.ook geven ze uitleg wat er in de streek te zien is.

geen overgordijnen op de slaapkamer,er komt smorgens te veel licht binnen,en bij het ontbijt zijn er maar 2 broodjes per persoon. in totaal 4. wel kregen we er bij als we er om vroegen.

Kamer was ruim en netjes

Dat in het hotel honden zijn toegelaten vinden wij niet fijn. Ik vraag mij af of de kamers waar de mensen verblijven met een hond goed schoon gemaakt kunnen worden, of worden deze kamers alleen verhuurt aan mensen met honden. Wat ons nog het meeste heeft gestoord was, dat de honden mee mochten op de baden plaats aan het meer, en de honden daar ook nog eens de behoeften in het gras deden ( het werd wel opgeruimt) maar ik op die plaats de handdoek neer leg, vind ik toch niet prettig. Terwijl op de poort van de badenplaats het bordje verboden voor honden staat.

Wäre ohne Auto eher ungünstig

Als Minuspunkt muss ich anmerken,daß wir leider durch geschäftliche Umstände einen Tag früher abreisen mussten, und uns dieser trotz vieler freier Zimmer voll verrechnet wurde ! Leider dadurch nicht empfehlenswert !

Manca aria condizionata

La gentilezza della proprietaria, che ci ha accolto offrendoci un ottimo succo di mela di sua produzione. La camera era pulita e molto bella, con un balcone molto grande (credo più grande della camera stessa) da cui si poteva osservare il panorama davvero splendido del lago di Woerther.

Un po' lontano dal centro di Poertschach, a piedi saranno 2,5 km.

La posizione è ottima con vista lago sia dal balcone della camera sia dal ristorante. Il personale è molto disponibile e cordiale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
