The modern and new apartment hotel Stanys is a city hotel in a convenient location close to the Western Train Station (Westbahnhof).

Renovated in 2007 by a young team of architects, the former tenement building boasts a light and friendly atmosphere and generously equipped, spacious and functional rooms. Choose between 36 newly built apartments with spacious rooms ranging in total size from 27 to 52 m², with some of them featuring south-facing balconies. We offer space, simplicity, a place to live, a central location and optimal accessibility by public transport. The hotel is an ideal choice for business travellers as well as for tourists, for short-term as well as for long-term stays in Vienna.

All children under 12 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Viennese breakfast:
Fresh bread and rolls every day from the nearby bakery, cheese, spreads, marmelade, cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables of the season, coffee, tea, orange juice.

In our small bar, you can buy or drink wines, recommended by the host.

Room information

Our modern and individually designed rooms are furnished with Eames chairs, desk/table, a sofa and a refrigerator. There is no carpeted floor and the windows are soundproof. On request the apartments come with a south-facing balcony, kitchen or a bedroom with 2 separate beds. The rooms are up to 52 m² in size and are suitable for one or 2 people. They have a bathroom with shower and towel warmer and a laptop safe.

Area information

Schönbrunn Palace, the Gloriette and the Schönbrunn Zoo are all only a 25-minute walk or 5 tram stops away. The Technical Museum is the same distance. In just 5 underground stops (about 10 minutes), you can reach St. Stephen’s Cathedral at the very heart of Vienna’s historic centre.

Apartments are design, spacious, those with balcony are very quiet and location is convenient (westbahnof)

They could give more information on room and hotel facilities and local area (supermarkets, restaurants, laundrymat...)

What we liked about this hotel is that it's different - in a good way. The interior is modern and minimalistic. The bedroom is partially seperated from the livingroom. Comfortable bed and bathroom. There's a safe, a large closet and a fridge (with free bottles of water and beer). The room felt very spacious. The hotel is near a subway station, you can also walk to the city center (about 2 miles).

The breakfast is okay, but not great: two kinds of bread rolls, different kinds of meat and marmelade, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice (you should really try the pear juice!), corn flakes and coffee. But for € 8 it's a very nice breakfast.
