I booked this place because I think and concern that Checkvienna is closed to subway and good location. When I arrived in Vienna. I need to check in at Check vienna. But I can not find the apartment because the map that show in booking.com not the same building in the true. So I tried to called the front counter and asked the address. I asking for help from local people to find check vienna. I tried until 5 pm. I found this place and ask someone to called them again. But cannot contact. Because the building like apartment , if you don't have key you can not come in. In front off the building ,it's has a ring bell for asking, but I don't know which floor. It's almost 7pm. so I decided to book new hotel .For foreigner ,that's time it's not safe , dark, and cold. I come from Thailand ,I didn't have roaming for phone and wifi internet. And I can not contact the staff, it's reasonable. When I have wifi internet, I really want to contact them again by email. And I email to booking.com too. Because My case is no show , and Is it necessary to pay for 2 hotels?
i love the apartment it was clean and tidy. it was warm at night. it was breezy during the day, and the air-con came on automatically. the place was modern and bright and it was dark on the nights. the bed was comfortable. the location was perfect right next to the underground and a short walk into the town. Also a great little restaurant next door.
they was supposed to make it for 4 people and didnt. the cooking equiptment was dirty, the forth bed was not made and we went out and they was supposed to bring more blankets and sheets that never appeared. there was nobody there to meet us when we arrived and the bloke who came was very moody and was only interested in taking the money.
The bathroom smelled bad, the location was confusing and no parking area and reciption.
We had to give them the time of our arrival first that a person could bring us the keys. Thirty minutes after the time we had set nobody was there. I called their number and a the woman told us to go upstairs (the main door is locked, some neighbour from the house let us in) and take the keys ourselves. No apology for giving us wrong istructions an letting us wait. When we opened door, we immediately notice a horrible smell - the bathroom was probably washed with a dirty cloth. The floor was dirty (black) and we had to clean it ourselves. The lamp on the bedside table was broken, so we couldn't use the light. The apartment also looks much bigger and much better furnished in the pictures - the reality is quite rusty.
Great location and easy access to underground
First floor apartment needs security bars so the windows can stay open. Otherwise, the room gets hot and stuffy.
Very well located. All public transports near by. Easy walk to hold town main attractions. Nice large apartment for a one week leisure stay.
Access process to apartment not as specify in email received. No representative at entrance as indicated. Needed to communicate by mobile and instructions for access not clear, had to call 3 times; language difficulties and poor description of how to proceed.
fair price not too far from the city centre
the water boiler wasn't working a little unconfortable bed one of the towels was dirty
Great apartment in a great location. Walking distance to the city but also very close to a large metro. Good heating, nice kitchen facilities and very spacious.
We waited for 45mins in the rain waiting for someone to meet us at the apartment with the keys. We had arranged a time via email. It was after 45mins that we had to go and find wifi to call them. It seemed they had no intention to meet us there and gave us the code for the door on the phone. There was no mention of this in the email.
the appartment looks pretty fine, distribution quite good and really bigger than expected
The matrass for the beds
The ground floor access was ideal for me. The size of the room and facilities provided was good.
Access via the shower doors to get into the shower cubicle could be improved. There was very little room to manouver and squeeze between the gap available.
I loved the location as well as the set-up of the apartment - it was clean and compact but not cramped at all. The area was safe and close to tram and bus transport although you could easily walk into the centre of Vienna! It was great value for money at a prime time of year and being able to cook made all the difference to being in a hotel! We had a very good trip, and made it our temporary home for the weekend!!
The bed was awful, the wooden slats would fall out with almost no provocation. Because the bed was shared we would sink towards eachother and it gave me back-ache for the entire trip.
It was a well designed little space, with everything you could have needed. A good shower and excellent heating.
The matress and bed were so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep on it. Also the pillows were no use either.
The staff very friendly. Check-in was moved to a more convenient. Before issuing the visa, we actively corresponded, and all the questions were answered.
The location was great. Price was great. Inside was very clean and nice.
The bathroom smelled like urine. I couldn't believe it. The entire apartment also smelled a bit old and moldy. I'm not sure why, because it looked very new and clean. We opened the windows any chance we got and it was OK. Every time we left and came back we would notice the odd smell, but after being there for a few minutes adaptation would kick in and it didn't bother us anymore. But the bathroom... YUCK!
Bed wasn´t too good
