Very clean, everything like new

I slept in more comfortable beds... but by no means it bad..

Location is very good, Right at the centre of the city. You can walk from the main train station for 15 mins.

Noise outside the building, if you want to open the window. The noise comes from construction work going outside and the group of loud people in the evenings.

We were pleasantly surprised when we could check in early, and the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and cosy too. Its location also meant we could get to Getreidegasse on foot in 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

As we had rented a car, the nearest public parking area was about 10 minutes' walk, given that the hotel had no parking garage of its own. What made it more inconvenient was that there was restricted vehicular access to the hotel.

Beautiful rooms and an excellent location

We found the beds a little hard

The staff was great! Articulate and multi lingual reception helped with directions, arranged transport to/ from the train station as well as arranged for a tour to Budapest. Made it simple and did it with a friendly genuine attitude. Refreshing!

Only complaint- there was a lot of tourist traffic outside the hotel throughout the night- the noise level got very loud making it difficult to sleep with the windows open.

My air conditioning in the room did not work

If you are driving, try to stay in other place. It is a restrict area for cars and the parking is public and not so confortable.

The hotel was very pretty and newly redone. Very clean. The staff was Great and accommodating!

While this was a very nice clean hotel it was one the worst beds I have slept in in all my travels. I will grant that I'm 6 months pregnant, but even my husband woke up with a sore back each day. Made for uncomfortable touring days

staff, place felt cold and unwelcoming, one could sneak up through the lift and staff would never see! No one answered at help desk in evening, breakfast was poor, was very expensive for quality of stay, felt I was in a hotel used to catering to bus loads of tourists that barely know where they are

Location was brilliant. Rooms and bathroom clean and bright. Hotel building interesting with the modern, glass and age old building merged beautifully. Perfect for a day or 3. Space may be an issue for a longer stay.

Nothing to dislike!

We booked just a standard room but got upgraded to an apartment, the place was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. It was walking distance to a lot of the sights and restaurants and also easy to get the bus around town.

The wifi internet was quite slow and we couldn't access it on our phones. Also the breakfast is a bit overpriced but you don't have to get breakfast there.

Excellent room and fantastic finishes. Bathroom was heavenly with a huge shower! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was superb in the old city of Salzburg... absolutely beautiful. Great restaurant right next to the hotel! We loved our stay here and rate it as one of the best hotels we stayed in throughout Europe. Highly recommended.

3pm check-in

in austria there are still many hotels with smoking rooms, so make sure you book non-smoking room not to find yourselves in a smoked out accommodation

Big room, new & fresh.

Poor Internet access, during holidays there were problems with towels.

The young man who checked us in and out at Reception was very welcoming, efficient & professional.

The Asian lady at the reception on the evening of the 29/12/12 was rude and disinterested. A great shame as the remainder of the staff were excellant and she let the whole team and the hotel down.

Hotel looks modern and location is good

Heating did not work Wifi access is available for only one device at a time even though the room was for two people. Had to claim a second access code and receptionist was reluctant to provide it Just one hand towel and one pillow per bed. When we asked for more they said they were fully booked and there were not any more available. In general, staff did not even try to help providing any solution to these inconveniences.
