The restaurant has fantastic bavarian food at affordable prices. Smoking is permitted in a closed-off bar area but it doesn't seem to impact the restaurant air at all. I'm not a smoker but I think that's nice for those that do smoke. |

Good breakfast and nice spacious, clean room. The view from the room across the railway was a bit gloomy, particularly since there were a lot of works going on at the time. We thought 10 euros per day to park the car in a very grotty open air car park was expensive. |

The room was a very simple design, comfortable and efficient. I particulalry liked that there was a bathtub and that the location was within walking distance of the center of town and also the train station. Great place. The A,erican Breakfast buffet was not appealing to me...was in Austria and would have preferred traditional Austrian breakfast fare. Otherwise, the service was great! |

Located in middle of the main train station and the Mirabell Gardens aproaching the old city. This hotel helped book my tours and their breakfast buffet was great. The room had a minibar and was clean. This hotel for a single room offered a single bed. |

The rooms were a good size as well as the bath, quiet, clean. You could not hear the noise in the hallways or from the streets. The internet signal was very weak on the 3d floor and there are 5 floors. |

The food was good in the restaurant, the staff were helpful and spoke good English. It was a short walk into the city centre and close to the train. (Good location) We felt that €14 per person for breakfast was expensive. |

Its location was really good. Only took 15 ~20 min to City Center by walk and less than 10 min by bus. Because this hotel is also known as local beer "Stiegl" brewery, the beer garten was really nice. People at the reception was so so. |

Staff was nice, room was clean, and both the location of the hotel and the price for the stay was pretty good. If I return to Salzburg, I would consider staying at this hotel again! The elevator is a bit slow. |

The hotel was within walking distance of the railway station and about 15 mins stroll to the old town centre. Coffee and tea were provided and a kettle could be requested from reception if required. The staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. |

Great food for both breakfast and dinner in restaurant where staff were friendly and helpful. Tiny room. Some reception staff very brusque - one downright rude. Unhelpful with provision of kettle, cups and tea/coffee in room until more senior member of staff intervened. |

the breakfasts were of a high standard and most enjoyable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice and close, in walking distance to the old part of town, especially to Mirabell Gardens. The pillows are a bit too soft for comfort. |

it was within a walking distance from both the railway station and the centre with bus stop right in front of it. the room was spacious with air conditioning. pick up service for the tours and being able to buy tickets for them from the reception was really helpful. at times the reception is left with no employees and when she finally came she didn't even bother to apologize!!! |

The bathroom was excellent and the rooms were clean and functional and within walking distance to the city centre. The reception staff were cold and unfriendly, the restaurant staff were arguing between themselves all the time and there was not tea and coffee faciltiies in the room..when asked no kettles available so hard luck! |

Great location close to train station as well as short walking distance to all points of interest in Salzburg. The breakfast which was included provided excellent value with a wide assortment of hot and cold foods, fruit salad, cereals, great selection of breads, cold cuts and cheeses. Our 4th floor room was very quiet and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The hotel's beer garden was a great place to relax after a busy day with good selection of traditional Austrian food and wonderful beer. The air conditioning worked great in spite of the heat wave and humidity. All in all, this hotel offered excellent value for money and we couldn't have asked for more. |
