Rent,snyggt,bra personal,utmärkt restaurang med förvånansvärt bra priser

The food and staff in the restaurant were excellent. The location was convenient for all the activities we wanted to do.

The hotel staff regarding all the activities, tours and tickets we purchased were very disappointing. We were misinformed regarding our options when we purchased tickets. We were told there was only one company for instance to purchase tickets for the Sound of Music and this was incorrect. We were told the wrong place to go for 2 of our activities, which ended up costing us extra money to correct. The large dogs staying at the hotel and thier barking were concerning at times. The Wi-fi never worked.

It was Ok, nothing special

The phone had an alarm set which woke us at 5am! The hotel really should have checked this and turned it off. Generally I thought it was an expensive hotel for what it was.

The location is great. About 15 minutes walk to the city center of Salzburg. 5 minutes walk to bahnhof (train station). Breakfast is great as well as the service at reception. Staff are polite, well english spoken and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel was decent. Room was very spacious for family of four, large bathroom, clean facilities (albeit a bit dated). Walking distance from the train station (which is good if that is what you are looking for) and from Mirabell Gardens and an easy 15-20 minute walk to the town centre (with young kids it was better to take short taxi ride). Personnel was very helpful. For one night and given we were only going to sleep there it was ok.

Hotel is a bit dated and old. I have to believe that for the price (150 Euro) you can find something a bit more modern closer to the river/city center.

Facilities were great. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was great. Good value. The bathroom was very nice and comfortable.

I only wish we had had a single bed. Placing two smaller beds together was not as comfortable because if one happened to sleep on the edge where the two beds met, then they could separate and it would be uncomfortable.

The hotel was in an excellent location for visiting Salzburg. It was relatively easy to find and its proximity to all the sites was excellent. The restaurant was particularly good and the service impecable. The parking was very convenient and priced properly and they exchanged currency at a very fair rate which is sometimes unusual at hotels now.

The bed was not a comfortable as I would have liked and the bath a bit small.

Hotel staff was very polite and client oriented, they helped us much and were able to answer each question.

In total I was dissapointed of this hotel. In comparison with other bw hotels this one hardly could be maked by 4 stars. The room was too small, bathroom didn't look clean mostly because of old decor, the window lock was broken. I was also supprised that staying can't be prolonged even for additional money despite of the fact that hotel was mostly empty. It was very inconvenient to check out at 11.00 and wait for the flight at 20.00

Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was nice, with modest but good selection of food.

It's too close to train station. It does have sound barrier beside tracks, but on higher floors it doesn't have effect. You will have to have your windows closed. Luckily air-con and ventilation works flawlessly.

It is well situated near the railway station and not far from the city center (10 minutes on foot). The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff really helpful.
