The location of the hotel is good. You can walk to Opera Theater by 15 min. and to St. Stephan Cathedral by 40 min, to Belvedere by 15 min. The subway station in 400 m and 5 min. walk, tram and bus stops are nearby. The personal is friendly, the breakfast is very good. A minor disadvantage is that wi-fi price starting from 2 euro/hour. Overall impression is excellent because a discount price 98euro/night for double room is hardly to beat for 4-star hotels in Vienna.

Very friendly staff and the good breakfast. The location is not bad. I could not believe what I had seen when I opened my room door. It is not a hotel room, instead, it is a very tiny attick. It has the smallest bed and room space I have ever seen in my life. I would never regard this as a hotel because I did not want to stay in my room more than 10 minutes. It makes you feel like you are in a bird cage or a prison cell. The old lift is very small and slow. I was forced to sleep and move around under a big roof which was a big shock to me.

Front desk was efficient. Not overly friendly but fine to deal with. Breakfast buffet was very nice- good food, good coffee, good sized eating area. We booked the two bedroom suite (#54) which has two full bathrooms. This was great as we were there with our 16yr old son. Ac worked perfectly. Rooms were quiet. Never heard anyone else on the floor. Within 1km walking distance to Vienna central. Tram runs every few minutes in front of hotel but we either walked or took taxi. Only thing is that you can only lock the door with key and if the door is locked from the outside, it can't be opened without the key from the inside. For us, this meant that we either had to lock our son in the room (dangerous in case of fire) or leave the door unlocked when my wife and I went down in the early morning for breakfast while our son was still in bed. They should issue multiple keys or upgrade the locks to that the doors can opened from inside without a key.

The Hotel - well situated close to city centre – taxi 7 euro/ tram ( they don’t seem to ask for fares) City bike hire across the road free for first hour. Walk – 15 minutes. I had a room roadside and was glad I brought my heavy duty earplugs as the traffic is noisy apart from midnight to 6 am. No clubbers or drunks waking people up. Lobby is manned 24/7. The Staff – Extremely friendly, courteous and helpful – they speak excellent English Room – Spotlessly clean and the cleaners keep it that way every day. There’s a free safe – TV with satellite ( only English channel is CNN) Efficient air con/ heater. Good sized radiator for winter. Furniture – basic but undamaged and attractive. Bedding – a bit sparse – I had to ask for extra pillows and it was almost a problem until they dug an extra one out for me. The thinnest duvet I’ve ever seen but I didn’t need in summer – I don’t know if they upgrade for winter. Bed mattress – just about OK but could be deeper. The Shower-room/Toilet – Everything you need – hairdryer/shaving mirror etc Shower pressure excellent ( I’m really fussy about that) Looked like the room had just been renovated – spotless, modern fittings. Towels not adequate. Two tiny pieces of thin cloth that just moved the water around rather soak up water. They need to up grade this. Also - folding the toilet paper into a ready to use dart always show they’re trying really hard to impress. Internet – WiFi in lobby, café area free of charge for maximum one hour per day Chargeable wi-fi by the hour there or in the room. The Café/ Breakfast room/ Restaurant - Very smart and clean and great staff. Breakfast choice and content beats most hotels I visit at this price. No limit on visits to the breakfast bar. Good coffee re-filled all the time. Dinner menu very limited. Cheap and well presented well but it doesn’t pretend to be anything else. They provided only two very small, thin towells that were very poor quality. The bedding should be upgraded as it was beloe what I'd expect

Within a walkable distance to main shopping cetre and all the main tourist attractions in Vienna. Very short walk to the tramstop and bought a 3 day pass. Took us to all main attractions out of city centre. Parking was very expensive and situated well away from the hotel.

Nice Business-package value. Comfortable bed. Not too big yet cozy and comfortable room. Pleasant hotel in general. I asked for a quiet room but was given one with window to the main street. The noise of trams intolerable, they seam never stop even on Sunday night. The windows are not soundproof enough for the front rooms situation in a few meters from the road.

The receptionist are very friendly and helpful.. The location is still great eventhough it is not located near the city center. The breakfast is really good with lots of varieties to choose from. The room and toilet are small considering that the hotel is classified as four star..

Having not any priority: the kitchenette, two TV sets, excellent breakfast, good position near the Wiena center. The hotel private parking very small. An other private garage is available, expensive for one night only and at relatively long distance from the hotel site.

Location is summed up in the name of the Hotel: close proximity to State Opera, which is site for catching tour buses. Even closer to Karlsplatz lovely park and attached metro station. Easy tram or transit options to Vienna's three or four main train stations. Nice breakfast buffet. Internet access was acting up when I arrived, but 15 minutes later it was fixed and worked well for the rest of my trip.

Nice hotel. well located: tram stop just next block, U-bahn station 8 min. walk.Breakfast was good, lots of cheeses and great coffee (as in Vienna always). The first day someone from the staff entered into the room, just asking if everything was ok. Strange. Also I would have liked wifi to be free in rooms. These are minor flaws though, all in all it was a pleasant Easter in Vienna and hotel 900 m zur Oper.

Spacious and relatively nice room, relatively fovourable price 98EUR + 18 EUR for parking in small garage inside - originally advertised price about 250 EUR is total nonsence for this level.Hotel is close to centrum of Viena, good position. Noisy room. Regarding to confirmation of resarvation was promised to us, will not be taken any advance payment from our account. Despite of this promise, we have blocked money, one week already, though we have paid by the same credit card like was reservation provided. :-(((

Location is good, close to the center and subway station. Reception stuff is very bad... They are (especially 1 person) absolutely not interested in guests. For example, a person have been doing something with computer during 5 minutes having me waiting at reception desk and another time just chatting with her colleague. Breakfest is poor and quality is questionable.

We liked the location and the kitchen facilities in the room. It was a very quiet room as we asked for. We also liked the breakfast serving hours - until 11.00 - we are not early risers.
