Hotel Talhof  

We have four young children 8 and under that we travel with a lot here in Europe. We have never stayed in a kinderhotel before but will seek them out when possible from now on! The playroom, swimming pool, and beginner ski runs just outside our door were perfect for our getaway! The staff was helpful with our questions and our meal in the restaurant was very good. Ski school for our little beginners was a little more expensive in comparison to my research of the region but this is a cozy small hotel and not a big resort area with big ski schools. The children who did take lessons seemed to be enjoying them and got a lot of attention from the instructors. It's the ideal setting if you plan to teach your children to ski yourself like my husband. We stayed in the 2 bdrm/2bath apartment which was perfect for our needs. We were able to prepare most of our own meals and a grocery store in town is only 2 miles away if you're not snowed in. The kitchen was sparsely equipped with bare essentials to eat on and prepare food much like other apartments we've stayed in throughout Europe. Our can opener didn't work but the restaurant helped me out very graciously. I also really liked the playroom's tv channel in our room where I could send my kids down there but be able to hear and see them.

Very kind manager team and staff. We were given a 2-bedroom apartment, although we had booked a 1-bedroom apartment. The landlady personally presented to us the property and gave us directions and leaflets on how to explore the surroundings. Beautifully located, wonderful view. We had a very pleasant stay, though you sometimes came across a funny smell (like cheese or cows or some other rural mark) allover the valley. All in all, highly recommendable family hotel.

The location was very beautiful and the owners welcoming.

The owners have to decide if they are running a Hotel or just a big house with people coming and going with no expectation of seeing them. Reception unmanned for many many hours and just a phone to contact them is not good. It was surprising at the height of the summer season (August) that the Hotel closed on Tuesdays with no bar or dining facilities. (This should be flagged up to people on the booking site). I was particularly annoyed that we vacated our room for it to be cleaned and upon return, it had not. We then had to wait a further 2 days. Most evenings we had to go to a nearby Hotel to use the bar and upon returning at 10pm would find the Hotel locked up with us having to use a side entrance. We came back from Innsbruck one evening to find it all in darkness at 9.30pm For personal reasons we had to return to England early. I think we were at the point of leaving anyway. I think this Hotel is more of a winter location and I would try it for that reason as there is a slope right outside.

We are a family with three kids.We have enjoyed our stay in Talhof. The appartment was big and clean , two bathrooms (no soap provided!), well equiped kitchen. The swimming pool, billiarrds, internet,table tennis, bicycle rental were wonderful for the children. View from our windows, balconies was beautiful. The whole area very peaceful, beautiful, perfect for walking tours. Highly recommended for family holidays.

Der Wirt (der Franz) und sein Team waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das hat man an der ganzen Atmosphäre gemerkt, auch die anderen Hotelgäste waren sehr nett und entspannt. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen warm) war lecker und wie gehofft österreichisch, es gab immer frisches Gemüse auf dem Salatbüffet und das warme Essen war frisch gemacht (frische Schitzel, kein Tiefkühlzeugs, keine Fertigsuppen) Das Appartment, sauber, geräumig und gemütlich, die Betten bequem, und man hatte von den Balkonen einen phänomenalen Ausblick auf die Berge. Süße kleine Sauna und Dampfbad, alles sauber und gepflegt, im Pool war ich nur einmal aber da wars auch schön.

Schönes Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Schön ist das flexible Zubuchen der Halbpension. Frühstücksbuffet und Abendessen sind super!

Ausstattung und Einrichtung des Appartments. Tiefgaragenstellplatz Wellnessbereich mit Schwimmbad. Es war super. Buche gerne wieder.

Een plezierig ontvangst en voor de kinderen genoeg vertier in het zwembad of de speelkamer. Het Hotel ligt aan de piste en dat is een leuke oefenbaan. Maar voor het echte skieen stopt er voor het hotel een bus en die brengt je naar Auffach. Met de auto 5 min. Rijden. Schone ruime kamer, goed ontbijt. Personeel is zeer flexibel bij hp kunnen de kinderen ook iets anders uitkiezen.

Il posto è da favola, sembra di essere veramente tra le montagne di Haidi, I proprietari sono delle persone gentilissime,non parlano tanto l'italiano,ma ci mettono tutto l'impegno per aiutarti.I Servizzi igenici sono Impeccabili, ideale per I bambini perchè attrezzatissimi!!, La piscina coperna è stata una manna dal celo,visto che ha anche piovuto.Bello, bello!!!!!

Super grosses Zimmer, ideal fuer Fam. Sehr nette Menschen und tolle Lage zum erholen und sport treiben.

Zeer leuk hotel met mooie voorzieningen als een een binnenzwembad en een sauna. Lekker ontbijt en diner. Ook op doorreis naar Italie ideaal omdat je met je gezin in een appartement terecht kan.
