Staff very welcoming and helpful. Rooms' clean and comfortable and a great breakfast of both hot and cold dishes. They even provided brollies in the rain. Would definitely stay again.
The staff is quite friendly and helpful~
Wonderful hotel, great staff, great breakfast, spotless and unique.
Good location, breakfast is good, big room
Reception is not very nice, parking fee is Eur 15, too expensive
This is an outstanding hotel. It's right near the Dom Cathedral and very near the Castle. You are 2 min walk from the Getreidegasse. Everything you need (restaurants, shopping and all markets) is within 5 min from the door. The "newer" old twin is right across the river (within 5 min walk). The rooms are very clean, the staff is professional and the breakfast is wonderful with an excellent variety of food (great bread and apfelstrudle!). Great coffee. It's a good value for an "altstadt" hotel.
Staff, location, comfort of beds, hot hot water. Super breakfast, owner was not only helpful but full of personality and energy and obviously loves what she does.
View........looking out over courtyard which had all of the remnants of construction on neighboring buildings. Fortunately, no noise in the evening or night time.
Central location to old town, fabulous "fraulines" at the front desk, wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff-- wonderful!!!
We were made very welcome by the Ladies on reception and were very well looked after during our six day stay, particularly with advice on where to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast room was lovely and choice of food covered all tastes and was excellent. The location of the Hotel couldn't be bettered with Mozart Square just round the corner. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely unpretentious Hotel.
There was nothing we didn't like!
This was a charming little hotel located very conveniently located to central Salzburg. The staff could not have been nicer or friendlier. The room was small but comfortable. I would highly recommend both this hotel and Salzburg, a delightful place.
The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer!
The hotel only has about 30 rooms which makes the staff very attentive in helping with tours, bus schedules and any other advice you need. The location is perfect in the heart of old town and makes walking easy to all points of interest.
It can get a little loud with foot traffic at night if you are sleeping with the windows open.
This hotel maintains its Old World charm while providing modern comfort. It located in the heart of the old town, easy waling distance to most of the major tourist attractions. The rooms are small but quite comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding!
Great Breakfast, In Historic Old Town
Located in the Altstadt it was an easy walk to the St. Rupert's festival activities. The bus stop for route 25 which takes you to the cable car and Hellbrunn Palace and the fountains is right around the corner, and the catacombs and funicular are within a couple minutes walk. Lots of good restaurants and shops near by, as well as the museums and platzes. Oh, and did I mention that the hotel room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and If I come back to Salzburg I will definitely stay here again.
The breakfast which was included in the price was okay but not spectacular and they were sometimes slow to replenish dishes.
Quaint little hotel in the heart of Salzburg. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Staff is wonderful!
efficient staff-friendly-welcoming-helpful staff. very good breakfast-proximity to town centre- if weather is inclement you are near everything
I cant think of any negatives.
Location was closet everything we wanted to do and see. The staff was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly.
There was a street for 4 days so it was a bit noisy late in the evening from the revelry.
The staff, especially the front desk, was more than helpful in helping us with tickets, travel and getting around Breakfast was a delicious beginning for each day We were even supplied a top sheet with a smile - those glorious quilts were a bit warm all night
Very friendly staff, great location, nice breakfast, free wi-fi
Bathroom very small, room quite small, no air conditioning would be a problem in summer, paid parking garage not cheap and located a few hundred meters from hotel
Location and restaurant recommendations that were off the beaten path.
Nothing in particular
The staaf couldn't do enough for us. The two ladies at the reception desk were friendly and so helpful with everything we asked.
Location, staff, breakfast.
Room a bit small but recently renovated,
staff VERY friendly and helpful location excellent excellent breakfast
no curtain or blind in bathroom window. VERY dark and old fashioned bathroom smells from the kitchen coming into our airless room in the morning.
Everything was excellent, from the greeting when we arrived, to the included breakfast. The room was very large by European standards, we had three of us and there were two rooms for sleeping. The hotel is very convenient to most of the sights in Salzburg and the staff was very helpful. On the day we departed we had an early train to catch and breakfast was ready early and our cab to the train station was ordered for us. A great stay in a lovely city.
The shower arrangement was a bit of a negative, got the entire floor wet but that seems to happen in many European hotels so this was minor.
We loved everything about this hotel. There wasn't really anything we could fault during our three day stay. The breakfasts that were provided were amazing. The rooms were clean and a good size by Austrian standards. The location was sensational and close to all attractions which were only 100 metres away. I would highly recommend this hotel,to any travellers and plus the fact that it had an elevator made it even better as we did not have to carry our suitcases up the stairs which we encountered at our other hotels.
The location and staff are excellent, but the hotel is quite run down. The room I was in was dark and very noisy some mornings from about 6:00 a.m on (1st floor over the kitchen).
