Translated to English Technikerhaus=Technicians House. So. I"m not sure what technicians house means but I can tell you our unit reminded me of a hostel house. I thought a shared bath would be a common batch between two rooms. A common bath here means a public shower and toilet per floor. The room reminded me of a college dorm room with a common shower facility. The room had two wooden office chairs on casters and built in study desk/counter tops, vinyl tile floors, and a built in wooden bed frame. There was a view of a nice mountain from the back window. Apparently the front office desk closes shop at 2200 and there is no one available to assist with any customer service. At first, I was concerned about security but everything seemed to settle down and there was no rift-raft after about 2300. There are no elevators so if your on the 4th floor (5th floor in the U.S.), you will need to walk up 5 flights of stairs with your luggage. For us this was not a problem as we're active fit. For others not inclined to climbing stairs, this may be a consideration. This certainly works for the budget conscience. However although we are budget conscience, in the future we will definitely pass on any shared bathrooms. It's just not for us. We would prefer to pay a bit more and have our own privacy. A recommendation would be to take some shower shoes with you to this hostel as the shower is a public facility. I was unable to get internet service the first night there. When I woke up in the morning, I magically had WiFi connectivity. When I inquired about the lack of internet connectivity, the explanation was that internet service was working fine and that it must be a problem with my computer. When I explained that I have WiFi at home and that I don't have problems with WiFi access at other hotels, they stated that it was my problem and hot there's. I have a haunch that I'm not the first to complain about the lack of WiFi access on the first night nor will I be the last.

Excellent view from the room (atleast the one we were allotted). Spacious room. Very clean - room and shared WC and shower. Very helpful staff. Wholesome breakfast. No lift - had to lug the luggage all the way up the stairs!!! And at our age that was extremely difficult.

Even a little far from the main railway station, but very near the Inn river, so it will be easy to find. The hotel locate aside the river and on the other side of the river is the university. I think the hotel former was the dormitory of university. It is clear and roomy. The bathroom and shower were on public at each floor which make me recall my school days. The breakfast is include in the fee of the hotel. The breakfast was sample but fresh and tasty. The wifi signal was not good.slowly and discontinuous.

Relatively acceptable for the price. Relatively close to only one bus station. Breakfast is good. River view is ok. Too weak wifi. Not enough heating. Unacceptable smoking smell in nonsmoking room. Fair traffic situation.

Staff was super friendly and helpful and gave great tips. Location was really nice and conveniently located to the Old Town and close-by stores. internet cut out a lot; flimsy doors allowed noise to penetrate, but earplugs solved that problem

1.no protection for the guest sleeping on the upper bad of double level one, all night was dangerous of falling down. 2.no front desk service after 2200pm, we found people nearly a bar, and was told the bar was in service for check in, while no notice in the door of hotel, the service should be improved.

Very cheap prices for stay, parking for only 5 euro/night in hotel, small time for walking to center and old town, good location for car trip to skiiing and highway, simple but tasty breakfeast, free WiFi in room, public, but clean shower and toilet. Extemely hot room without regulation of heating (no valves in heating), reluctant receptionist, very simple and small room for one person

Location is good for the airport and excellent for catching buses and trams into Innsbruck. A ten minute walk from Innsbruck which is pleasant. Close to Bergisel Ski Jump. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was really good. The Shower was a godsend. So hot and over all i felt safe throughout my stay. Nothing - I was pleased with everything.

Bed was soft, cloths clean, so comfortable to sleep. Quiet street, at least on the night I stayed. I'm sorry, but this is not a hotel, it's a students dorm! Booking.com, please take away the stars, hotels provide at least a tv, to say nothing of the old furniture, double beds and wc facilities in the corridor! As I had to eave early, the included breakfast wasn't possible to have! Considering also the remote location, definitely not a worth 36 euro option.

This hotel is only a 10 minute bus ride from the central train station and the bus stop is actually named after the hotel. Perfect place to stay if your skiing or adventure holidaying, either solo or with a ground. Or even if you just need 1 or 2 nights affordable accomodation. The staff were polite and all facilities and rooms were very clean and modern. Free wifi and breakfast are included. All round good stay. Nothing comes to mind.
