Great staff, good wifi - surprisingly still an issue to find this in Austria at times. Nothing. Free water & a bathrobe in the room would have been a nice addition.

Fancy design, excellent location just a few steps away from the shopping gallery and the main street with lots of shopping kiosks. Beautiful view. Exceptionally clean room. W travelled with a 2-year old kid and had no problems, we asked of an electrical kettle in the room and got one right away. Unbelievably delicious apples unlimitedly available at the reception desk. Gorgeos mountain view in the breakfast area. No oatmeal at breakfast which turned a problem as we travelled with a little kid. The kitchen staff could not make any. I had to ask them let me in the kitchen area and cook it myself.

Brilliant central location for Innsbruck centre and also access to the mountains / cable car. Breakfast to die for! Convenient also for airport. Helpful staff. Permitted smoking in 5th floor bar - an Austria-wide issue however.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was excellent for the Christmas markets that we went to Innsbruck for. The Reception staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It's a modern hotel and everything was spotless. We stayed in a suite which was wonderful with two full bathrooms, seating area with comfy sofas plus tiny area with a mini bar fridge and a good coffee machine. The bathrobes, slippers and chocolates were all nice touches. My husband loved the cool safe and the TV as he loves gadgets. Great view of the mountains from our room with windows so clean I actually thought they were open! The hotel is famous for its fantastic breakfast and its all true with such a choice you would need to stay days to try it all not to mention the champagne! We will definitely stay there again. Loved everything!

Haighly recommended for anyone who want to stay in Innsbruck . Wifi free of charge and the hotel design was modern and location is near to everything you want as a tourist . Car parking was not free and you need too much time when you ask the stuff to send someone to help you with your luggage.

The Penz has the best best breakfast with great variety and quality I ever had. The beds are really comfortable. The location of the hotel itself is perfect which is in the city centre. Congress Centre just on 5 mins walk. Most of the sight seeing experiences are also on the walking distance. The restaurants and cafes are just few steps ahead. I found one of the best Indian restaurants "Little India" just 20 feet away. The food was so delicious that it made me to skip one of my conference lunches. I had to check out early 4:00 am and I had no problems. The taxi was waiting for me outside which was called by the hotel staff. Other hotels they usually allow check out from 6:00 am onwards. The only disturbing thing which I experienced was unstable Wifi connection. But as the hotel staff said it happened for two days in the last 10 years. I believe them :)

Excellent Hotel with a central location. Everything was walking distance from the Hotel. Staff were always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was one of the highlights. Innsbruck is wonderful and The Penz makes it even better. Will be back at The Penz for sure.

The location was good. Right behind the city center, adjoining a mall. The breakfast was very nice (great selection of cold cuts). 1. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that they do not have bell boys to help cart the luggage to our room (I would understand if it was a family managed hotel, but this is not of those). 2. The hotel provides parking facilities in the parking basement of the adjoining mall, hence there is a daily charge (although it is at a discount to hotel guests). 3. The rooms were quite small in our opinion. There was no space left in the room once the baby cot was installed in our room. 4. The bathroom shares a glass upper section with the room (its not an all-wall partition). Hence, if one of the occupants needs to use the bathroom in the night, the light from the bathroom would illuminate the whole room, disturbing the other occupant(s). This is in my mind is totally illogical on the part of their interior designer. 5. Another illogical feature is the taps in the bathroom. The taps have mere stubs for controlling water flow (one each for cold and hot in the bathtub) Totally useless because you just cannot turn them on or off with soapy hands. I wish I had taken photos of these taps to demonstrate!! 6. One more illogical feature, no cupboards or closed wardrobes to keep clothes in!! And no storage racks to mount suitcases on, except for a narrow platform, which is supposed to double up as a TV stand and a writing desk!! It felt that practicality seemed to have been thrown out of the window in the name of chic new-age design!

The rooms are spacious, and very modern. There is a large bath in the bathrooms. It is not a 4star hotel as claimed. There is no restaurant, nor do they offer any room service. The bar (which they call a restaurant) does not even serve snacks. They say you can have breakfast in your room, but I was asked to write what I wanted on a piece of paper - no mention of what was on offer. The breakfast did not arrive, and I heard this also happened to another guest.

Perfect city center location, proper rooms and great breakfast on rooftop terrace with marvelous view on surrounding mountains! Just the right thing if you like cool, functional design and a great bar inhouse. Thicker pillows would be nice.

Although the location is truly unbeatable and the design classy, it is the quality of service, professionalism and friendly demeanor of the staff that sets this hotel head and shoulders above the rest. No request is difficult and the manner in which the staff receives and responds to it is amazing. You feel so welcome. The bar is simply great at night for just hanging out and definitely their breakfast is so sumptuous and with an incredible variety. They also allow you just to languor for as long as you want with attentive yet unobtrusive service. Would definitely stay there again if ever in Innsbruck. The hotel was key to enjoying our trip. Thanks to the hotel and to booking.com Absolutely nothing. Just wish they had other branches throughout Austria
