Hotel Maximilian is in the heart of Innsbruck’s Old Town, next to a pedestrian zone. It features free Wi-Fi and provides rooms with a flat-screen TV. The Golden Roof is just a 3-minute walk away.

The Rolling Stones, Sting, Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Monaco have all stayed at the Grand Hotel Europa in Innsbruck. Modern furnishings are characteristic of all rooms.
Score from 949 reviews Very good

The Hotel Grauer Bär is in the center of the city of Innsbruck, just a 2-minute walk from the historic Old Town.

Excellent, varied breakfast.
Room was a bit dingy.
Located in the city center, great breakfast..the best I've had till now, clean!
A little bit expensive for 4 stars hotel
no conditioner for hair
central location, good quality hotel
Very modern design which is located just next to the Alstadt of Innsbruck. The most impressive part would be the spacious underground car park which is not common in European country. Secondly, the staff has given us very warm welcome. Thirdly, the internet speed is one of the fastest.
Close to town centre, cleanliness, staff
A little bit pricey
Excellent breakfast Good location Staff very friendly and helpful
The glass in the upper walls of the bathroom disturbs when using it by one of the occupants. Rooms not very large. Bar includes smoking areas. Not comfortable
Superior double room was modern, clean, not overly big but comfortable enough. It was pleasantly furnished, the only thing i missed was having a desk chair. The bathroom was also very nice. Beds were comfy, but pillows were very flat, so we just requested more, which they supplied immediately. Staff were for the most part friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. You will not find a more extensive selection of exotic fruits and gourmet foods anywhere. It is served in a lovely large room on the 5th floor which has a beautiful terrace and gorgeous mountain views. There was always a big bowl of apples at reception. Location was excellent. Walk through the adjoining shopping mall and you are on Maria Theressen Strasse in the heart of all the action with the Golden Roof just down that road. Its a very short and cheap ride from the station by taxi and there is a bus stop just around the corner. There is also no shortage of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. One particularly nice one is called "My Indigo" where they serve great soups, salads and curries.
Two things that were a bit awkward with the bathroom were that you had to close the bathroom door to get to the toilet and the other was that the wall separating the bedroom and bathroom had a big glass panel in it (it is not a full wall). The problem here is that if one person goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night the bathroom light filters through to the bedroom disturbing the other person. Similarly, if you don't both get up at the same time in the morning, you have that same problem.
Everything but the pillows
Anna at receptionn
Not enough pillows. No clock radio.
There is not much to say except it is the perfect Hotel for Travelers of all ages perfect place in the city perfect rooms great value for money well done guys
location excellent open to galleria..taxi at next corner.. staff friendly..roof terrace is so relaxing.. breakfast is higly recommended
the Penz is a nice hotel, good decor, it's possibly the most contemporary in innsbruck. Rooms are clean (although not impeccable), of a good size, their top floor bar seems to be very popular with locals at night. The location is very central and the parking, although it's a public one, is connected directly to the hotel so it's very convenient but not cheap.
The service in the hotel isn't that of a four star hotel. I think that much more attention is put into parking luxury cars outside, than into offering a good service to their guests (and i also found the staff a bit too self confident). When we checked in we have been told that unfortunately they hadn't any baby crib for our baby because the one they had was taken - i wonder can a 4star hotel with many rooms have only one small bed available? no other option have been offered, nor an upgrade or a discount for the inconvenience. also when we got to the room, there were no towels and toiletries - this was in the evening, so they had plenty of time to prepare the room. For the rest of the days we stayed there, they always gave us only two set of towels, when we were 3 in the room.
Exceptionally friendly welcome by receptionist on arrival. Brilliant breakfast. Late check-out. Location. Security system i.e. card required in order to take the lift to the bedrooms.
Very noisy airconditioning . Bathroom light, if being used during the night, shining through into the bedroom and disturbing partner's sleep.
Roof top bar Breakfast Comfortable bed Helpful reception staff
Small room Price Street noise at night
Very good location, lovely hotel room. Only the Spa/wellness is missing.
Nice personal, nice hotel/modern room, I love this hotel,
The 5th floor bar/restaurant was really nice; good views, good location
Room was a bit bare-bones given the price and market position of the hotel. Would have expected either more space and/or more amenities (e.g., premium beds, toiletries)
This shiny new hotel was in a great location, close to old town, with very helpful and friendly staff. It has large rooms with everything you need. There were shops and restaurants nearby as well as the tourist information centre.
Location, cleaness, friendly staff, parking under hotel, excellent breakfast (the best I have ever seen in European hotel),
Excellent location (part of a small mall) Excellent roof lounge bar Convenient parking in the basement - at a cost. Breakfast is good.
The coffee is bad.
The Penz is in a great location just steps away from the Goldenes Dachl, shopping, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and modern. The same applies to the bathrooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend The Penz.
was a non-smoking hotel breakfast was really good really centrally located clean room, amenities ok
-There was no hot water kettle, tea or coffee in the room -the pillows were extremely soft and no hard ones in the room -no desk chairs to enable writing/typing -there was no view from room 301
Hotel is clean, convenient. Location is excellent: Mall is adjacent. Old town is walking distance. Nice room.
There were some homeless folks walking around right near the hotel. This isn't a bad area of Innsbruck at all, but the homeless give a weird first impression. Bar is very pricey. Hotel staff recommended Thai restaurant in the adjacent mall--this was a terrible choice, food was horrible. It was busy at lunch though--I guess expecting good Thai food in Innsbruck is too much?
