Friendly & helpful staffs. Nice view from bedroom. Spacious room with reasonable price.
Rene provided a brilliant welcome and was extremely informative and helpful with everything we needed or enquires about during our stay. Very quiet room and good temperature control.
Two singles beds pushed together as a double and nothing holding them together. Bath was a little narrow so slipped a few times.
Wifi was bad, only available in the lobby and even in the lobby at midnite the night we stayed wifi was not available when I needed to research some info.
We had a huge corner room on the fifth floor with a great view of the city. Rene at the reception was charming, funny, and helpful and made our experience much more enjoyable. It was our second stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed walking to Mirabell Gardens by way of the outdoor market in the morning. It's a great alternative to staying in the crowded and expensive castle side of town across the river.
Internet is only available in the parlor. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room.
the furniture, the location, the silence
Well located and good value for money hotel - our stay of three nights made all the more enjoyable by happy friendly staff and management - highly recommended.
The service from staff and location of the HOTEL.
No Coffee or Tea making facility in the rooms.
Comfortable bed nice room with a view and very friendly helpful staff
Very well located in a quite area just outside the busy old town but an easy walk across the river to the sights of the old town. Our room was surprisingly roomy and the staff particularly helpful
No wifi access in rooms ie you had to sit in the public areas for wifi access which limited your ability to use Skype
Front staff staff, esp. Emily, was very, very helpful. Location near Mirabell Gardens is great as well as nearby eating places, esp for breakfast.
The family was lovely to us and made us welcome. The balcony on our room was quaint. A lovely experience.
This hotel does have a refrigerator in the room. One night I decided to use the hotel sitting room to read for a while and eat and drink a lovely snack I had prepared of cheese I had from the morning breakfast. and a very small complimentary bottle of wine I had received from a hotel in Vienna. As I sat down the desk clerk kind of hurried right over and looked at everything on my tray. In so many words, he began saying that I should not have brought in the wine. I found his approach very intrusive. I thought that he had hurried over to offer some help like a knife for the cheese. I was taken back and explained that it was a complimentary bottle from a hotel in Vieena that I hadn't had a chance to use.He still went on about it. By this time I was starting to stand up to leave. He stated that he could make an exception, but by that time the joy of such an evening was gone. I headed up to my room. It is a good location but I would not return.
Couldn't ask for a better location, within walking distance of all attractions.good clean and family friendly.
The WiFi! I have heard negative reviews about this aspect before but they still trotted out the same excuse that the router was down. As independent Travellers this is a must as we use the evenings to look for local info and plan the next day.
The staff was excellent, they treated us very professionally and were quite helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. They had an excellent breakfast buffet, which we enjoyed both mornings we were there. It was within walking distance of the old town and close to shopping as well.
Floor was a bit dirty when we checked in and the soap dispenser was empty in the bathroom. Shower partition wasn't sealed properly and we ended up with lots of water on the floor.
Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for accessing old town and adjacent shopping areas.
Poor wi-fi only available in main lobby. No excuse for not having quality wi-fi available in rooms in this day and age. Breakfast was good but overpriced for what was offered.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of excellent restaurants and shopping in the area.
kindness of the staff
The front desk staff were great - welcoming, helpful, with lot of advice on things to do, maps etc. - also gave me a mozart CD on check out - a nice touch. The rooms were clean, if a little basic
very nice hotel, well located
poor quality of the room. noisy room
Helpful staff. Very knowledgable. Good breakfast. Restaurant recommendations were excellent
Pillows and twin beds
Decent location, Mirabell Gardens are nearby, the castle is a bit far but you can walk there if you want. Friendly staff, they recommended a very nice place to eat.
We had a great room with views of the city.
A bit of a walk from the centre of town.
Location was excellent spacious rooms and huge double beds room 507.
Didn't have breakfast felt it was too expensive @ €12:50pp.
