All of the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming (thank you to you all!). The location is perfect, and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
We were greeted right away by friendly staff. They knew my name before I could even give it! And they pronounced it correctly the first time! I was very impressed with that. They were very helpful with activities to do for our short stay. I took my parents here for their 41st anniversary. Location was great, the hotel was comfortable and clean and the breakfast area was excellent! The best I've seen ever in all my travels! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and the bests were very comfortable!
The rooms in the hotel were in no way comfortable and I was glad we were only going to be there three nights! The bathrooms had no room to even put down a toothbrush! There should have been an extra chair to sit down in the room. There was only one little thrash can in the bathroom. We had thrash we put on a shelf in the bedroom because we didn't know where to put it. Finally on the next day another small thrash can was brought in for thrash. Breakfast was average!
Good location, friendly helpful staff, clean & in good decorative order, excellent German-style breakfasts. Good quality bathroom fittings Nice touch to be given a Mozart CD on departure.
WIFI in lounge area only, would have preferred to have in-room. Rooms themselves nicely but clinically decorated - a little cosier would have been preferable.
Good location and clean
Bed is a little hard
I liked the location and the cleanliness of the place. The staff were helpful, especially Rene who did the night shift.
The lobby was small. But that was minor.
Location of hotel for both sides of the river & helpfulness of staff
Quality Of pillows could have been better. Walls were v thin
Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and immaculate. It is a little bit of a walk to the old town but means the hotel is quiet and away from the crowds. Airport bus stop is directly across the street and the train station a short walk away. I would happily stay there again.
My preference is for a very dark room and, despite the blinds, there is too much light in the room at night. Blackout curtains would be helpful.
All the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, slightly away from the noise of the old town but close enough to walk to the restaurants. It is also just a 10 minute walk to the train station. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom.
Lovely place, very nice breakfast and a very helpful staff.
Nothing to be fair....
Beds were comfy, excellent mountain view from my room (room 406), cleanliness of the hotel. What impressed me most was the hospitality of the staff, extremely helpful when you need travel suggestions.
Location is great..10mins walk to the old town and fortress. Many restaurants nearby.
a bit noisy at night
Fantastic location: not very far from the Hauptbahnhof and from the old city, a quiet street with breathtaking view of the mountain and the city itself, very helpful staff trying to make you feel at home since the very first minute! We hope to come one more time and stay at the same hotel!
The staff (Rene, in particular) are very helpful. Good value for Salzburg.
In retrospect we would have preferred being closer to old town. Age is showing a bit.
Staff was great Room was comfortable Location was perfect
No hotel bar Very few outlets in room
Not that much, really. Just did not match the good feeling of being in Salzburg, despite the name of the hotel. Rene was helpful.
Could not decide if staying in or out of altstadt was better and decided to stay out here but that turns out to be a mistake, as takes some time to walk to. Room had no furniture other than beds, so nowhere to sit down. Breakfast was uninspiring. No invoice provided at end.
Friendly & helpful staffs. Nice view from bedroom. Spacious room with reasonable price.
The Motzart is well a well run, friendly and clean hotel well located near Mirabel Platz. The bathrooms have frequently changed white towels and were obviously recently renovated. We had a very spacious room perhaps because a we were staying several days.
We did not have any tea or coffee making facilities in our room, nor were there any readily available in the public areas. I gathered this is not all that unusual in European hotels. Also the internet was sometimes difficult to access however I understanding the owners are working on this issue.
Rene provided a brilliant welcome and was extremely informative and helpful with everything we needed or enquires about during our stay. Very quiet room and good temperature control.
Two singles beds pushed together as a double and nothing holding them together. Bath was a little narrow so slipped a few times.
Wifi was bad, only available in the lobby and even in the lobby at midnite the night we stayed wifi was not available when I needed to research some info.
We had a huge corner room on the fifth floor with a great view of the city. Rene at the reception was charming, funny, and helpful and made our experience much more enjoyable. It was our second stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed walking to Mirabell Gardens by way of the outdoor market in the morning. It's a great alternative to staying in the crowded and expensive castle side of town across the river.
Internet is only available in the parlor. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room.
the furniture, the location, the silence
