Area information

Situated between Brno and Vienna, the Weinviertel takes its name from the region's winelands. A mild climate, many days of sunshine and a picturesque landscape are at the heart of this attractive and unique Austrian region.

In addition, you can visit many cultural monuments and sights such as the Liechtenstein Palace in Wilfersdorf, the castle ruin of Falkenstein or the Nitsch Museum in Mistelbach. The extensive network of well-marked bike trails, such as the "Liechtenstein route", or the golf course at Poysdorf, surrounded by vineyards, invite you to discover the region.
