Poor Breakfast & Services. Very Stuffy Room

This hotel has an excellent location as it is in the middle of the old city, and may likely be its only redeeming quality. The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. We received a discount on our room as it was advertised and booked as a non-smoking room, but was clearly a smoking room. The staff agreed with us that this is a problem with the hotel.

Rooms are outdated and old, feeling like they haven't changed since the 1970's. There is a stale stench of smoke in almost every room (yes it is in the bedding, and in the curtains, and also in the bathroom). This hotel is advertised as having non-smoking rooms, and needs to be changed immediately to reflect that it is possible to smoke in every room (ashtrays are in non-smoking rooms). The hotel shower head in our room needed to be replaced as it was unable to be pointed in any direction but out of the shower, hence soaking the bathroom floor. The ceiling in the bathroom is covered with slats and dusty particles were able to fall through (that is pretty gross). The 3rd single bed in the triple room is made up of narrow mattress pads.

Very good hotel, as expected in Austria. Good size room, good bathroom and good furniture. I recommend it.

The stay at the hotel was brilliant. It was located in the heart of Innsbruck and was really the ideal location. Everything was close by. The only problem was that there was no hot water.

Hotel is on the main shopping and pedestrian street and during the night is noisy, vociferous. The cleaning can be improved.

Central location, excellent food and low price

It was difficult to find the hotel.The name of the hotel is clearly put on the main street, but deep inside of the small pasage. It is confusing because from the main street you see only the name of the hotel restaurant walder... And the title tourhotel.

The hotel was in a good central position between the station, airport and old town

Some of the staff were great, but others a little cold.

The hotel restaurant was very good, low prices and traditional austrian dishes. The breakfast was included and it was simple but very very good. Great pastries and cheeses, with a small menu of cooked items on request. The bathroom in the room was very spacious and the rooms were clean, albeit not that large. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and freshened daily.

Hotel and restaurant staff could have been more helpful. This is an obvious quality in most European establishments, but the places that employ proactive attendants make it that much better.
