Das Triest is a luxury hotel in the heart of Vienna, about 5 minutes from the State Opera, 10 minutes from St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and 5 minutes from the "Naschmarkt" market area and the Mariahilfer Straße (shopping street). Designed by the famous interior architect Sir Terence Conran, Das Triest is considered to be the masterpiece of hotel design in Austria. Guests from around the world have come to treasure the unmistakable exclusivity expressed in every detail of the hotel's furnishings and interior design which, taken together, create a unique atmosphere of intimacy and individuality. With the opening of the hotel in 1995, Vienna finally had its own hip and modern hotel - a sharp contrast to the city's charming, late 19th-century Art Nouveau architecture. The former bus station and horse stable on the route from Vienna to Trieste, also known as the “City of Trieste”, was renovated and converted into a unique and contemporary 5-star hotel. good breakfast friendly staff good location - shower/bath system is not comfortable, water temperature is not steady - no possibility to make tea or coffee in the room - the bed is not comfortable, back pain.. - the used glasses in the room were not taken away in two days

the wonderful breakfasts, clean & new facilities, outdoor courtyard, prompt and courteous staff. Good large bathrooms Free wireless internet Fantastic home made jams No tea making facilities in the rooms for serious tea drinkers. No firm pillows for the non-Europeans ( ouch - sore necks) More english language channels - CNN is driving us crazy

The room was quite comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It's too expensive. And as a design hotel, it doesn't get a very special design. What I can say was only comfortalbe and simple decoration.

Micul dejun este extraordinar. Personalul hotelului este foarte prietenos și te poate ajuta cu orice informație ai nevoie. Dacă aveți camera pe partea cu strada, s-ar putea să fiți deranjați de tramvaiul care trece pe sub geam. Pe mine nu m-a deranjat, însă face un zgomot destul de puternic.

Zentrale Lage. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Angenehme Zimmer mit schlichter Eleganz. Reiches Frühstückangebot. Raffiniertes Restaurant mit einer Speisekarte die viel Abwechslung bietet. Sehr aufmerksames Personal in allen Bereichen. Zimmer gegen Strassenseite nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern benutzbar.

хорошие завтраки, удобное месторасположение, компьютер в каждом номере :) очень плохая шумоизоляция. если на этаже поселили шумную компанию руссктих туристов из Тагила, то проще поменять гостиницу...

Выбрали этот отель как промежуточный из-за месторасположения - находился в двух шагах от отеля, в который переехали позже. Не пожалели! Понравился дизайн, современный и комфортный номер, одна из самых удобных во всех отношениях ванная комната. Заявленный интернет работал очень хорошо. Очень чисто и уютно. Завтраки тоже очень неплохие. Персонал на рецепции внимателен и услужлив. Провели в отеле только одну ночь и очень не хотелось уезжать.

Insonorisation très moyenne aux bruits extérieurs (tram). Fenêtres à 1,70 du sol donnant une désagréable impression d'enfermement. Impossibilité d'utiliser carte bleu (2) pourtant totalement opérante hors de l'établissement

Sehr gute Kastenlösung im Zimmer, mit Licht und Hosenbügler. Der MAC wertet das Zimmer natürlich sehr auf. Die Möbel sind sehr ansprechend, auch die Beleuchtung. Die Blume im Bad ist ein netter Punkt auf den man gerne blickt. Das Badezimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Mosaiksteine fehlen an der Wand. Leider pfeifft die Armatur wenn mann sie aufdreht.
