We had a well-appointed suite on the ground floor which included a bedroom with ensuite bathroom; sitting room; mini-kitchen and separate toilet – cost €450 for three nights. It’s really near (5mins) a major metro station with three key lines and easy walking distance to some of the key venues. And easy to get from/to airport in less than 30 mins for €19 return. A rarely comfy place at a great price with pleasant / helpful staff.
Maybe Conran designed but now all a bit dated and strangely configured – our room was next to function rooms.
Flexibility. Hotel cares only about money. Your confort and needs are not important. I recomend to noone. Wc was not working. And thry charge fir this 150 eur! Very bad!
The inner Garden Location is good Dinner at the restaurant is quite good, though a bit overpriced.
First and foremost, the staff has a I-know-it-all-you-are-only-a-guest-here attitude. rude, inattentive and inefficient (off course not each and everyone of them, though the vast majority). Wi-Fi is terrible Breakfast is lacking in terms of variety and is totally overpriced. One is better off with the breakfast in one of the many coffee shops within a 300m radius. The maintenance of the hotel is a disaster for what you would expect of a 5 star hotel
Restaurant is superb; staff friendly and helpful.
Nice classical design
Parking is not easy
Location and court yard.
Smell of cigarette smoke in stairwell and corridors.
A short walk to the opera house. A medium walk to the Museum district, a 20 minute stroll to the bus station where the tours started. Room was very comfortable/stylish. 9 euros for the mini-bar wine wasn't too crazy, and it was good wine.
Room felt like a cave, windows faced a tiny courtyard. Shower glass leaked through to floor no matter what I tried. Water pressure was actually excessive and not controllable.
The staff were friendly but very limited number to serve the breakfast in the garden is excellent
The room was very small and the bed also. The bathroom shower were exposed so lots of water come out when u take shower and the bath get so wet. The service is almost 3-4 stars hotel the facilities in the room is very simple ... don't be mislead it is not a 5 star as u might imagine
Despite making reservations 2 -3 months earlier, the hotel screwed these up due to a mysterious "computer error" and only received them the day we arrived. They were full and we were subsequently forced to stay at a hotel nearby. To add insult to injury we were not met by the manager but by his deputy, then taken across the road to the other hotel by a porter and shown a room that was nowhere near a comparable standard. Only after returning to Das Triest to explain just how angry I was, did the Hotel Manager finally appear to take me to the other hotel himself to show me the junior suites we originally booked in his hotel and then offered us breakfast in Das Triest. I informed him that was how a mistake that was not our fault should have been handled in the first place. He sheepishly agreed.
Very attentive staff at breakfast. The range and quality of breakfast was excellent. Staff provided extra pillow for my wife and cases were in our rooms on our return from the city. Large room, so never felt cramped.
Conveniently located, good restaurant - excellent breakfasts. No fuss - in and out.
Personell attitude can be more friendly. Sometimes you feel like 'necessary evil'. Bathrooms ageing or by purpose they made them 'vintage':)
Very poor mattresse.
Personal treatment, Design, classy interior Great Triest music compilations available on Mac computers in the room with remote controler Fast free wifi Cool Silver Bar
Location and Breakfast were great.
