    The staff was extremely friendly. They upgraded me to a suite, which was quite nice given I had just finished a red-eye across the Atlantic. Raffl's Tyrol was a perfect place for a weekend getaway before my business trip to Zurich.

    Great rooms great food. The entire staff was extremely kind, the hotel is located 400-500 m from lifts, but whenever we needed to get there they took us by special car. When we left, I forgot my wallet at the hotel, the maid found it and the hotel staff arranged it to be shipped to my country. Button line - great hotel, great service. Very recommended.

    Nice new rooms. Great views. Wonderful breakfast with everything you could ask for. Great after ski snacks. Excellent dinners with half board plan or a la carte served in lovely restaurant. Flat screen tv's. Free ski/boot storage at the goodola. Even cleaned the snow off my car. 3 minute shuttle to gondola. Easy walk back from gondola to hotel through town.

    That we had to leave.

    Décor and accommodation were lovely, food was very good, breakfast was always an excellent spread.

    One or two of the staff were unfriendly, inflexible and unhelpful.

    A very nice hotel, I loved the design and many little thoughtful touches from the welcome drink to the farewell bread. The breakfast is exceptional -- really yummy. Had one of the dinners in the restaurant and it was delicious. The spa is quite nice and relaxing (except for completely naked very old guys -- but that's Austrian thing, I don't expect the hotel to control it) All in all, very nice, except for some staff members... I will probably be happy to stay here again when I return.

    It was my first time in St Anton, and the front desk lady I asked for advice had some alternative interests in mind -- not sure whose, but certainly not mine. 1. On the first night we were asking for restaurant suggestions and the staff was extremely reluctant to give any recommendations beyond own & sister hotel's restaurants. We did end up eating at the hotel restaurant the following night, and it was lovely, but upon arrival we really wanted to leave the building and go into town. That should have been enough of a red light for me to not even ask anymore. But I asked... 2. I asked for recommendation for a ski rental shop next to the hotel. I was referred to Intersport, the one the hotel “works with” – whatever that means, since there was no discount. I asked for a different place and the answer was “I don’t know any”. In reality, there are plenty of [better] options, obviously. I had a bad experience at Interspot – they refused to honor online discount, overcharged me for equipment, gave me different skis than what I wanted. All in all, it was 20 euro/day more than the quote, and even that was after I refused multiple VERY strong pushes to buy liners for the boots (which were simply too large), etc. etc. Not the hotel’s fault directly, but certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth for both. 3. The receptionist told me it was a good idea for me to get the ski pass at the hotel so I wouldn’t have to wait at the lift. What she didn’t tell me was the half-day options. She sold me a full day pass, knowing perfectly well that I would not get to the slopes until well after 12pm. I ended up paying about 15 euro more. The incremental money I was charge is not a big deal. But it was just very unpleasant to know that I cannot trust the hotel to ask for suggestions.

    The staff were exceptional and really made every effort to make us feel welcome. The service and food was also incredible. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your hotel!

    It was the only hotel which had vacancies for 1-4.01.2014

    Some of the stuff do not speak English. The design of our room was very strange, E.G. with toilet light switch inside the toilet. A cleaning lady entering the room without knocking, no "do not disturb" sign in the room, some of the staff do not greet guests not allowing to pass in the hallways etc

    Staff very pleasant

    Drinks/wine very, very expensive, even charged for tap water with meal.

    As we were the first guests to stay at the hotel since the building of the hotel had finished, we got a free upgrade to a suite with a fireplace, really nice gesture. Car was parked for us, ski's were brought to the depot at the Galzig elevator, very good service there. A la carte restaurant was very good quality food, breakfast buffet very nice.

    We were smoked out of the room after lighting the fireplace the first time, then we were smoked out of the hotel bar after the fireplace was lit there. Still needs some work I guess. We felt sorry for them since they excused themselves for the problem numerous times. The rooms themselves smelled really new (as in it smelled like untreated wood, which was correct, since the floor and doors in the rooms was made of wood)
