Food & beverage

The restaurant "Maximilian" has a large sun-terrace and children's playground. There are also free parking spaces.

Enjoy delicious cuisine in a cosy atmosphere. The menu includes Tyrolese specialties to international dishes. The hotel pays special attention to the freshness and quality of the products used. the restaurant's cellar has the right drink to go with any meal.

And at the stylish house bar you can bring your day to a pleasant close with a good drink.

The kitchen is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11.30 to 14.00 and 17.30 to 21.30.

The restaurant is separate from the hotel. Please pay your bill in the restaurant.

Room information

All 27 rooms are tastefully furnished. There is a beautiful view of the mountains. For the most part the rooms have balconies.

The hotel is wheelchair accessible. The hotel has some wheelchair accessible rooms and bathrooms available upon request.

Area information

Located very centrally and close to Innsbruck. Owing to its location it is a perfect starting point for sightseeing and excursions. Places of interest include Swarovski Crystal world (20 min), King Ludwig Castle (90 min), Silver Mine (30 min), Ambras Castle (15 min), Tratzberg Castle (30 min), Casino (15 min) and much more.

Zirl is the largest village in the Innsbruck-West holiday region. Innsbruck, the Olympic city and capital of the federal country Tyrol, is at a distance of only 10 km.

Zirl is set at the heart of the Inn valley, at the foot of the Zirler Berg mountain.

Only few places are as rich in history and tradition as Zirl. When hiking around Zirl you will walk upon historic grounds wherever you go. You can now follow in the footsteps of legends and tales. 500 years ago the Emperor Maximilian used to hunt there and was once lost and rescued by St. Martin amid the rocks of Martinswand wall.

Zirl is renown for its Christmas cribs and is the only wine village of Northern Tirol.

Staff very helpful and friendly throughout. Modern, yet traditional hotel, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great. Good location as a base in this area of Austria.

The size of the room, large with a balcony. The staff could not do enough for us. Good parking areas with easy access to the lift. Great food and very reasonable in price. Family managed and it shows in all facets of the running of the hotel. Many company owned hotels are often sub standard in service. A great hotel and we would stay there again on our next visit to South Germany.

The location was perfect for us being independant travellers with a car - however if the traveller did not have transport they may find the hotel a bit isolated.

Restaurant was very good. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We were particularly impressed with the beautiful carved woodwork. We appreciated the information about hiking in Zirl.

There is not much going on in Zirl, and we were a little farther from Innsbruck than I anticipated.
