Hotel Unter den Linden  

Reception staff and restaurant staff were excellent. Breakfast was the best part of the booking.

I didn't get much sleep because our room faced the back of the hotel, and around 1am there was a lot of noise like rolling heavy hollow items on cobble stones, and bright beacons kept lighting up our room like lightening on a stormy night. This continued until 3am when I got up. The noise had ceased but two staff were sheltering [smoking] under a small shaded area directly outside our room and every time they moved the the search lights lit up the rooms on that side of the building. If you are a light sleeper I suggest you ask for a room at the front of the hotel, or try another hotel.

- Friendly and professional staff - location close to the Danube University as well as to the Old City of Krems - free parking place available, however, I would not complain if the parking should be paid - long family tradition of the hotel /haus - nice playground in the back yard, although I was alone - quiet area of the hotel location

- Old model of tv in the room - no leisure foyer in the hotel

Very pleasant hotel, well located close to Old Town. 15 mins walk to ferry terminal. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Couples should be aware that in one double bedroom the bathroom is designed as a small 'Hansel & Gretel' style 'house' within the bedroom itself. It has three windows which makes it either interesting or intrusive, depending on your viewpoint. Honeymooners would love it. Unfortunately we requested that we have a bedroom without the bathroom opening into it. Instead the very nice staff mistakenly thought we wanted it and provided it for us! Funny! Note:Toilet is located in another room.

Spacious room, very quiet with windows closed. Excellent breakfast.

WiFi didn't work in 2/f bedroom. Limited parking. Squeaky floors.

Good location - very friendly and helpful staff - fabulous breakfast! Very clean and comfortable room. Really good value for money. Free internet access.

The hotel was well located within walking distance of the old town and other sights. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff friendly. Outside courtyard to sit in.

No flat screen T.V in room or tea/coffee making facilities. Reception closes at 8pm so unable to order anything in evening. No fridge in room to keep anything.

Een comfortabel 3-sterren hotel, met ruime kamer. Goede sanitaire voorzieningen en een geweldig ontbijtbuffet. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Alles bij elkaar: een aanrader voor een stedentrip naar Krems/Wachau.

Geen enkele klacht. Jammer dat het hotel niet over een restaurant beschikte.

Zentrale Lage, aufmerksames Hotelpersonal,

sehr nettes Personal, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Einzelzimmer war Doppelzimmer zur Alleinbenutzung: sehr angenehm.

sehr weiche Matratzen, etwas hellhörig.

Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, die Lage ist sehr gut, die Fußgängerzone liegt nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt, Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und groß

Die Zeit fürs Frühstück ist etwas kurz gewählt (7- 10 Uhr), denn wer steht am Wochenende um 7 Uhr morgens auf? Außerdem wird das Buffet auch leider nicht nachgefüllt, wenn etwas leer ist, bleibt es auch leer... Die Stadtzimmer sind etwas klein geraten, besonders in den Badezimmern kann man sich wirklich nur alleine aufhalten. Wenn "Unter den Linden", dann ein Landzimmer buchen, ich habe zwar keines von innen gesehen, aber auf Fotos wirken sie jedenfalls um einiges größer

Keine Steckdosen im Zimmer, kein Wasserkocher erhältlich, Tisch im Zimmer für Studierende zu klein, der PC füllt 2/3 des Tisches
