Difficult to fault - staff helpful, room clean and warm (cold weather during stay), comfortable and roomy, good breakfast buffet, close to shops, the Kunstmeile (Karikatur Museum definitely worth a visit, but helps if you understand some German), and the ferry terminal. Not too far to walk from the station. Selection of restaurants of varying prices nearby. Didn't take a computer, but internet terminal provided in entrance, although adequate, was limited. Information provided on local facilities.

Very pleasant hotel, well located close to Old Town. 15 mins walk to ferry terminal. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Couples should be aware that in one double bedroom the bathroom is designed as a small 'Hansel & Gretel' style 'house' within the bedroom itself. It has three windows which makes it either interesting or intrusive, depending on your viewpoint. Honeymooners would love it. Unfortunately we requested that we have a bedroom without the bathroom opening into it. Instead the very nice staff mistakenly thought we wanted it and provided it for us! Funny! Note:Toilet is located in another room.

The hotel was well located within walking distance of the old town and other sights. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff friendly. Outside courtyard to sit in.

No flat screen T.V in room or tea/coffee making facilities. Reception closes at 8pm so unable to order anything in evening. No fridge in room to keep anything.

Zimmer war zweckmäßig und dennoch gemütlich, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich und übertrieben.

Außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten von Rezeption und Restaurant waren keine Getränke verfügbar.

Sehr freundliches Besitzerpaar.
