The Hotel Veltin offers unblemished natural surroundings, pleasures of every kind, comfort in its most relaxing form and last but not least many varieties of wine.

The hotel is located adjacent to the Veltlinerland Golf Club and is therefore the ideal place for Golf players and Wine lovers. You will be surrounded by an ambience of of 'the many charms of wine'. This theme accompanies you from the hotel entrance all the way to your room.

Hotel information

The hotel and restaurant are dedicated to the theme of wine and fits in with the vine-yard surrounding the lush green of the golf course.

Food & beverage

The restaurant, Gaudium Vini (The Joy of Wine), serves dishes that compliments the wines. Bernhard Mewald will personally take care of preparing the culinary delights. You can pamper your palate with Weinviertel specialties made of fresh products native to the region. The dishes will be complimented with international accents and you will also notice a Bohemian-Moravian influence on the menu.

We are daily open from 07:00 to 23:00 and the kitchen is open from 8:00 to 22:00.

Room information

Each room is named after a certain variety of grape with varying decorative accents and affords a great view of the delightful countryside.
All rooms have a bath or shower, mostly with a separate WC, and have a sofa.

Area information

The wine village Poysdorf offers you numerous sights, as well as cultural and recreational opportunities. From guided tours of the city or of the Kellergassen (wine cellar lanes) to wine museums, schnapps museum, or a vintage car museum.

No aircondition, higher level of "internal noise" while the hotel is placed in relatively quiet place not far from the main street... The value for money a bit problematic, comparing the level of the hotel I would expect 20% cheaper price... I think that you are partly paying the availability of the golf option and the strategic position of the hotel (close to borders, close to Wien)	7.5

Es gibt zwei Terrassen, eine war von einer Seite gekennzeichnet mit "kein Service", vom zweiten Eingang her war diese Terrasse nicht gekennzeichnet. Sie hat uns in einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton aufgefordert, dass wir uns hineinsetzen sollten, da auf der Terrasse nicht serviert wird, die zweite Terrasse mit Bedienung war voll. Sie hat sich eindeutig in ihrem Umgangston mit Gästen vergriffen.	9.5
