Austrotel Viennart  

Very good location, close to both city center and the shopping area. Very pleasent personnel on the reception who adviced us to go to Grinzing - Vinna wine producing area with authentic austrian restaurants. The rooms were clean.

Frankly speaking it is not 4th star hotel. We lived in not renovated room and it seemed 2th star. We came to Vienna to celebrate the 1 year' anniversary of the family life but our room did not inspire us. Also there were not sleepers in the room. Finalazing this short review I would reccommend this hotel to undemanding people and people who want to see beautiful Vienna and not to spend all days in the hotel.

Austrotel Viennart was wonderfully located with easy access to metro and within walking distance of all the major museums and the center.

A relaxed atmosphere. Central location but in quiet area...close to lots of small arty shops and bars. Liked the fact that you could have drinks free (not alcohol!) at any time of the day. Art work in foyer..nice. Close the subway and the Museum quarter. Good value.

The hotel is very well located, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the free coffee is a nice extra

Internet was slow

Great big room; possibility of entering the room before the official time of check-in; peace and quiet during the night. We didn’t take breakfast in the hotel because we thought that 15 EUR per person is to much. However, taking into account prices in Viennese bakery shops and coffee shops that price now seems quite reasonable.

The staff tried to charge something from the mini-bar that we didn’t take. They didn’t insist when we sad that we didn’t have anything from the mini-bar but they look at you as you were a thief.

Quirky. Very central location - excellent for musea and shopping. Friendly and efficient reception staff.

No in-house bar, although complimentary coffee and light refreshments are available in cafe/lounge area 24/7. Internet reception can be very slow and patchy.

The location is great, next door to the museum quartier and instant access to all major metro lines. Almost all of touristic attractions are walking distance. The non-stop coffee service at teh reception area is also a huge plus.

There is no bell-boy or concierge service at the hotel. They made us carry all of our heavy luggage in and out of the hotel, all the way to our rooms. The attitude about this problem at the reception was very dissapointing, they basically said 'take it or leave it'.

10 min walk to city center. The hotel is right next to all of the Museums. There are good bar / restaurant choices close by. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The location is fantastic, very friendly and helpful staff and a good sized room with good facilities. The free hot drinks were also very welcome! The restaurant just over the road is great for dinner too!

Despite the no smoking ruke in rooms, our first room had een heavily smoked in and smelled very bad. However, it was immediately changed for another which was very nice. The decor in the room was a bit dark but the beds comfortable and the bathroom was great - shiny and new!

breakfast was a little expensive for what was available, which is why we went out all except one day.
