Only a 10-minute walk from Schönbrunn Palace and Schönbrunn Zoo, this family-run designer hotel in Vienna’s 15th district has spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 699 reviews Very good
The Ekazent Schönbrunn is only a few yards from Schönbrunn Palace. It offers easy public transportation access to the inner city and very spacious rooms (approx. 323 ft²).

Location was great if you are visiting the zoo or schonbrunn palace. Staff were friendly and quick to please
Check out was a bit frustrating as there was no one there to settle our bill
The location is excelent, right next to turistic attractions and shopping. The breakfast is ok and the accomodations are quite comfortable.
Location. Simple and very clean. Near Schoenbrunn Palace, transportation (subway Hietzing 5 min walk), cozy and charming coffee shops and restaurants, quiet area. Friendly staff, very helpful and polite. We choose to have breakfast in nearby coffee shop so I can't say anything about hotel breakfast. I strongly recommend this hotel, especially for those on a budget.
It is very near to Schonbrunn Palace. You can either walk or take the tram (only a stop away). There is an underground station nearby too. Free wifi is kinda good.
The room doesn't really look like the picture but it is not that bad. The toilet is a bit too small.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We were given a free upgrade on our room. The hotel is very well located, next to the Schonbrunn Gardens and palace, and steps from a subway stp.
Good location, friend staff
Difficult to park
Need a renovation
Breakfast was poor standard for the cost
Water pressure of the shower is great. Too bad the same could not be said about the room.
It is too bad one actually needs to get out of the shower at some point during one's stay. The first obstacle one encounters is a puzzling height difference between the ground and the bottom of the shower/bath combo. It is almost like there is a whole hidden compartment underneath the bottom of the shower/bath, as the bath is relatively shallow while the distance to the ground is pretty big. Upon first try, it is nothing short of a miracle that I did not break my neck or break other things in my body. (Fortunately the hospital is just a short distance away). For future reference, I duly noted that climbing techniques needed be applied for a safe landing. Once I finally had both feet firmly on the ground, I encountered the next challenge: to dry or not to dry. Though the bathroom was equipped with two white towels, both towels bore distinct marks of previous usage in the form of brown or yellow stains. As this problem persisted in spite of daily changings, finding stainless areas of the towels which I could consider clean, became a fond game during the rest of my stay. After carefully manoeuvring my way towards the bedroom (one must be mindful of the water pooling on the ground due to a defect shower shield), I am saddened to report that the bed only looks good. The bed is actually big enough to hold two people comfortably. It was therefore even more disappointing when I discovered that both the sheet and the covers have been washed so many times that both are itchy and I needed to wear a full set of PJ to keep an itchy and red skin at bay. All in all, I was very disappointed in the condition of my room. I suspect that maintenance of the hotel rooms has not been the priority of the establishment since its awards in 2012. I can now only imagine how glorious it must have been... once upon a time, when sheets were not utterly worn and white towels were actually white...
Location, location and location. It is literally within a 5 minute walk to one of Schonbrunn Palace's entrances and 1 minute away from a U bahn stop.
I had the basement room, so needed to lug my luggage up and down myself. Also that means the windows were at 'bush level' meaning there were a variety of bugs. The shower glass panel was really small at the bathtub and water went everywhere.
Basement room had high cealing so we didn't feel like living under ground. Nice hostess and breakfast was good (but expensive). Spacious room and big tv. Location very good for visiting Schönbrunn castle and metro is close for a day in the city center.
Some parts have been done up in the last few years but others haven't and the quality isn't very good. Even getting into the room was sometimes hard. Room wasn't as clean as I would have wanted and beadlinen were horrible. I didn't have a good rest in old, worn out bedlinen with a very thin blankett when there was a draft from the window. Towels had also seen their better days.
Location ,the classic furniture and Wi-Fi.
nice location，friendly staff，wifi is strong。room is fairly big in erope
This place is near everything worth seeing in this area, very close to public transport, restaurants, etc.
In arranging a taxi to the airport, the senior staff lady assured me of a good deal, €36 fixed, to save me money. The going rate is €25.
The hotel remembered me on England from outside. Inside it was well cleaned, a bit old fashioned but nice as well. The room was simple but well furnished. The bathroom was white, clean and well equipped too. However our room had a view of the street we hardly heard the noises of it. My family and I spent very nice time there.
Only one remark. The stuff – not the boss - could have understood at least one European language (i.e. German) well if working in Austria.
it's near the famous sight view, very convenient to the city center. small but clean.
Location, wi-fi, breakfast and host.
The room was a smal.
Rooms were nice. But warm. In good location. Wifi was good. Clean and good size, some nice restaurants round corner from hotel
Was more like a bed and breakfast. Staff not on reception much. Stayed at a few hotels on travels and was used to more facilities,,coffee ,water. Etc.
Big rooms. Friendly staff. Clean. Location is perfect. The breakfast is absolutely perfect
Near metro and Schönbrunn, friendly staff in the hotel.
very clean quiet and good looking area near the subway station employees really helpful and nice
Location was convenient to transit and only a few km from our friend's flat. Breakfast was in a very pleasant room and the variety of food was good. Beds were comfortable.
Room was crowded with extra bed made up and that made it difficult to get to the window to open for fresh air. Shower enclosure did not seal to the tub resulting in wet bathroom floor.
The location is excellent! The hotel is excellent! All facilities and other service are all the same!
Nothing at all!
The lady spoke good english and was helpful and friendly. The room was good. It was in walking distance to train station and trams. It was very close to the Schonbrunn palace. The breakfast food offered a good variety for all nations.
The weird design of the toilets. The shower is a bit small. No fridge, tea/coffee, jug to make own. Old noisy lift, however at least it had one, as many old places do not and walking up flights of stairs can be exhausting for older people.
Great location, close to transit station. Neighborhood had many choices for breakfast.
