It's a little cosy, hospitable hotel situated right in the centre of Bad Gastein. We absolutely loved it being there! |

Very quiet, nice staff, excellent food, nice building & rooms. We chose it mainly because they could take a 5 day booking, which very few other hotels would consider, but it was a most pleasant experience. It would be nice to have a lounge with a bar/coffee facility where there would be an opportunity to meet other guests informally |

The suite was fabulous, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and outstanding dinners No - it's a lovely hotel, but Bad Gastein isn't somewhere we'd want to go to again. It's too low down for the snow to be any good at the end of February, and the available skiing, unless you're a fairly competent intermediate is quite limited. There aren't many blue runs, and most require you to ski over a red run to get to them, making them inaccessible. We also had severe storms during our visit meaning that much of the resort was closed, and there's not much to do there if you aren't out skiing... |

The boutique feel of it. Steep stairs to carry bags with no porter - ok for us but no good for elderly. |

The Villa Solitude is in a great location. The hotelier and all staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and we felt very much at home. The Kaiser Wilhelm suite exceeded expectations and was spotlessly clean. We also ate in the hotel for both nights that we stayed, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The service was again impeccable - attentive but not intrusive. Cannot fault this hotel and will definitely be returning. |

Wir hatten in Villa Solitude einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist sehr schön gelungen, das Essen wunderbar und das Personal sehr freundlich. |
