The charme of the austrian empire mixed with artist flair. Nice stuff, good food, excellent value for money. Original furniture, all well conserved without creating an athmosphere where you think you are in a museum. Great place!

Couldn´t be better

Perfect location for skiing, excelent food, great choice of wines, unique design, friendly service, great view from rooms overlooking the valley.

This is an historical character building in a fantastic location, with great public areas and a restaurant to die for. Definitely a place to come back to.

Beds were hard and beware steps if have heavy suitcases.

The highest marks for 1) history (beautifully preserved villa from the 1900s), 2) the view and the sound of the waterfall (fanstastic), 3) the perfect cuisine (the cook was trained in München, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and a Michelin star should not be far away), and 4) Frau Kolb, who is the perfect hostess in this exquisite villa, surely treating you the same as if you were the Emperor himself. Highly recommended

Great location. Huge room with a very nice view over the valley. Very good restaurant in conjunction to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

Staff always seemed very busy and could be a bit hard to get a hold of.

lack of shower gel and shampoo - we have to use our own, not very clean, towels and sheets not changed very often and not all of them; the room was too cold and humide - it was 11 degrees outside and rain and no heating inside

A very nice and charming small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Our room was lovely. Large and high seeling with beams. The prices, both for the hotel and in the restaurant was very reasonable for the high quality. We can rvery much ecommend this hotel.

We missed a safetybox in the room.

Walking distance from Mozartplatz bus stop. Amazing location with fall view. Room is clean and wide, the sound of water streaming is good. Food is fine in historical restaurant, terrace is also amazing. staffs are very kind! I want to come again!

Wifi signal was a little weak in the third floor room.

Villa Solitude was more than we expected. We were upgraded to the suite on the ground floor, offered fresh coffee on arrival and our host efficiently gathered information on what we intended to do in Bad Gastein. The hotel is in a good position in the town and has a fabulous restaurant. The hotel is very clean with the most amazing bathroom. Breakfast was also very good. We could not fault Villa Solitude.

Останавливались в мае 2013 года. Хорошее месторасположение, очень романтичный интерьер в стиле старинных вилл (что соответствует действительности). Все понравилось. Есть свой ресторанчик- очень удобно. Хотелось бы подоступнее Вай-фай - но это общая проблема для всех отелей.

Alles...:-)....schöne, große Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen, hundefreundlich, super Frühstück, stilvolle Einrichtung, sehr freundliche und entgegenkommende Inhaber, Urlaub auf hohem Niveau, aber trotzdem locker und entspannend...!!!!!

Frühstück war nur für zwei Personen gedeckt obwohl für 4 Personen gebucht und entsprechend spärlich war dann das Frühstück. Insbesondere negativ: KEIN NACHSCHLAG.

L'architettura e l'arredamento di Villa Solitude riescono a trasportare l'ospite in un'altra epoca. Lo staff, ristorante incluso, riesce a soddisfare ogni desiderio rimanente.

Nel centro storico si presentono diversi cantieri chuisi dei palazzi più belli e storicamente più importanti.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden zu 100% erfüllt. Schöne alte Villa im Zentrum von Bad Gastein. Tolle Zimmer und ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Man kann dieses Haus nur empfehlen

Wo soll man hier nur anfangen! Super Ausblick auf Bad Gastein mit zentraler und ruhiger Lage(Zentrum in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar). Ein großer Pluspunkt sind auch die hoteleigenen Parkplätze. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, vorallem das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen und für jeden Hotelgaste sollte es schon fast ein Muss sein zumindest einmal ein Abendessen in diesem wunderbaren Ambiente zu genießen.

Frühstück gibt es leider erst ab 8 Uhr! 7.30 wäre optimal, dann kann man stressfrei das Frühstück genießen und schafft es dennoch bis 9 Uhr auf die Schipiste! ;-)

Sehr stilvolle, edle Einrichtung.Man fühlt sich als Gast absolut willkommen. Sehr zuvorkommende Geschäftsführerin. Erstklassiges Frühstück!
