The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is a deluxe downtown hotel facing the famous Mirabell Park and Palace. This 5-star hotel is connected to the Kurhaus Spa and has Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds, and free...

decor was beautiful and interesting. they offer a great breakfast buffet. comfortable rooms. parking available
The fact they forced to pay in advance 50% of the room as under the reason of their impossibility to manager card card confirmation! Even on the booking they advertise the hotel needs a credit card just as a warranty...
They charged 2.5eu for tooth paste for a very small one for one use may be, in other 4 star hotels they provide it for free and in the room you should expect no facilities, no slippers and not even mini bar or a fridge!
Very clean and modern hotel. The decoration was a bit quirky in a cool way. Love that it had on-site parking (11 EUR/night). We arrived not so late (6pm) that there were still parking spots but it could get full toward the end of the day. The old town was within walking distance (10-15 min) so the location was ideal for us.
The lighting in the room was not enough, which made it a bit difficult to read maps/guidebooks to plan for the next day.
Very nice hotel.. People charming. Easy walk from station and old city. Very good breakfast.
Location is close to the town center. Breakfast was better than most of similar small hotels in central europe.
Rooms are good looking but they are just looking like that,so the quality of the materials were not so good. Although we stayed in a suit, they charged us for our 4 years old son with an extra 25 euro, this was nonsense.
unusually spacious! very pleasant bathroom interesting decor cheerful atmosphere
beds were a bit hard a bit of noise from the street small towels
Lovely hotel, very helpful staff and in a brilliant location just outside of the old town. We loved this location as it is right next to Mirabelle Gardens and a lovely 10-15min walk along the river to the old town.
The beds were not the most comfortable.
Salzburg is not a big city so this hotel is near to most attractions. You can rent a bike for free from the reception and that is convenience. Parking is also quiet easy you can park along the road or use the hotel parking lot with reasonable cost. Staff friendly with helping information. Generally a pleasure stay.
Room is just ordinary. Nothing can impress you.
Ten minute walk to old city.
Staff was indifferent to us at best.
This hotel got some good interior design, from the lobby area, foyer, etc. Although the location is not in the prime area, I think it is still worth of its value. The hotel provides luggage room which is quite nice.
The price for breakfast was a bit too high. Too bad that the hotel don't provide electric kettle, although the staff said we can come down to have hot water at the lobby area, but I think it's inconvenient. As most of the hotels we stayed in Austria and in Germany, they usually provided in the room.
a carefully renovated hotel with a very modern touch. I guess American guests would love it.
Everything. From the location, staff ( extremely helpful), the hotel itself and ofcourse mind blowing rooms.
Nothing at all
Wi-fi is fast. Room pretty spacious. We got a suite at a good price.
Sound proofing not great. Rooms can be stuffy, no air con.
It was quite spacious and clean. Good location and convenient parking at site.
I usually never complain about anything especially beds. But somehow the bed at this hotel was so hard to sleep with. Even my teenage kid couldn't sleep well after her long day at Salzburg.
Wifi is really bad
There were nothing I could say was exceptional. Rooms are standard rooms and you will come accorss to more functional ones in modern new hotels.
+ Being forced to make breakfast in executive lounge. All tables were full and my pregnant wife and I were forced to sit on a regular "sofa-seat" kind of couch for breakfast. + Personnel at the reception quite helpfull but other than that, all others give you the impression that they can't wait for their shift to finish and go home! + Location is outside of the city center however, underground station is in walking distance.
Wifi keep disconnecting No air conditions
Short walk to Old Town and Mirabelle Gardens. Room 304 had a sitting room separate fom the bedroom. Large soaker tub. Free WIFI. Clean With comfortable beds. Bikes available for free. Excellent staff.
Really nice hotel, old building but everything is renovated.we booked a superior room which was really big and the interior very modern. The hotel is about s 15min walk to the old town which didnt bother us as you walk along the river and can enjoy nice views
Location was great and the room was large and perfectly clean.
Staff on arrival was off-hand, the limited on-site parking and unclear (but carefully worded email) information about this is a major inconvenience, no bar fridge (in a suite), wi-fi in our room was hopeless, no assistance with bags and 2 sets of stairs to manage between the elevator and the room, no airconditioning, etc. The room was very noisy during our 3 night stay - with roadworks all through the night directly outside our window and the noise from the tv in the next room coming through the thin walls this was a problem. Overall a general sense that the hotel has been made to 'look good' but lacks features and service usual in a 4 star hotel - for me it is more an average 3 star hotel. Won't stay again.
Just blocks from old city. Near train station. Lots of nearby restaurants. Room clean & quiet.
In-room coffee/tea service would be nice. Frosted glass (see thru) bathroom not ideal for friends sharing a room. Internet profile represents "free breakfast". Not.
Historical building recently completely renovated with top quality modern furnishings. In the USA we would call this a "hip boutique hotel," with a fun mix of old style and odd, funky design. 1 block walk to Salzburg Congress; 10 min walk to Salzburg old town. Friendly and efficient staff, all of whom speak English. Spotlessly clean. Reasonably good and free wi-fi. Excellent value especially considering location.
The only thing I missed was having coffee/tea making equipment in the room. Breakfast seemed a bit expensive at 14 Euro, but that also seems to be a common price for the area.
Good breakfast, nice location. Very nice and clean bathroom.
But there's much noise from the street, absolutely no restaurants or pubs in the neighborhood.
