“ I have stayed in lots of hotels across europe, this was the best by far. It was at the center of everything. 50 m to subway, 100 m to st. Stephens. 150 m to shopping street. The room was not large but not small too. Breakfast was rich. Reception was helpful. ”

Hotel Wandl stoji v središču Dunaja, le 200 m od katedrale sv. Štefana in 250 m od nakupovalne ulice Kärtner Straße. Ponuja sodobne sobe s satelitsko televizijo z ravnim zaslonom in brezplačen brezžični internet povsod v hotelu. Vse sobe imajo parket ter kopalnico s sušilcem za lase in z brezplačnim toaletnim priborom. V nekaterih sobah je tudi kavč. Hotel se nahaja v stavbi iz leta 1700. Ima 24-urno recepcijo in dvigalo, na zahtevo pa je na voljo tudi storitev prevoza. Hotelsko osebje lahko poskrbi za nakup vstopnic za različne prireditve. V baru v sklopu hotela vam postrežejo s širokim izborom toplih in hladnih pijač, vsako jutro pa je na voljo tudi samopostrežni zajtrk. Podzemna postaja Stephansplatz (progi U1 in U3) je 2 min hoje stran, do zabaviščnega parka Prater se z javnimi prevoznimi sredstvi pripeljete v 5 min, palača Hofburg pa je oddaljena 600 m. I shared room 419 overlooking a covered in courtyard. And it was a pleasant room with a recently-refurbished little bathroom which was very imaginatively created, with lots of light and pretty tiling A most luxurious and well designed ladies' bathroom on the ground floor.. On the whole staff at the desk were most helpful. TThe only thing I didn't like was being charged for my first night e 115 for a single room which was more like a cupboard than a bedroom. Apart from that here was nothing I really didn't like. It was a very pleasant venue and when the dining room is refurbished it will even be better. Should I return to Vienna, I would like to stay at the Wandl Hotel

Location Rooms are too small. Just a few rooms are looking to the street. Most of the rooms are looking inside or on the opposite walls, which are only in a few meters apart.

Good reception and good room service , the breakfast is also fresh and delicious , the hotel design and the number of elevators is good and for sure the location of the hotel it is just 2 minutes from StephanPlatz and Mcdonalds is just in the corner :) There is no good view from the windows , all the room windows are looking to inside the hotel so there was no enough fresh air

The location is perfect. Single rooms are extremely small. I was like Gulliver in the land of Lilliput. It was a big challenge to use toilet.

Staff was extremely friendly, perfect Location, beautifully decorated Hotel. Window opened to an atrium, so there was no fresh air supply. Ok in February, but in summer, might be a problem.

I lived in view room and the view was really beautiful, but I was awaken too early by ringing of the bells. On our question if the city tour buses are present in Vienna, the staff at the reception answered that they did not know about this...

Location is excellent, very clean, large and comfortable room (junior suit), staff is friendly. Breakfast is quite acceptable, although we would like to have more famous Viennese pastries. We are very happy of our staying in Wandl. Nothing

The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to stay in the middle of the 1st district, walking distance to most major sites. The bar is small but pleasant and handy for a late drink or coffee. Buffet breakfast is OK. Modern clean rooms, singles are small but fine for a short city trip. After check-in, I asked about parking and was encouraged to purchase a 24-hour ticket for EUR 28 for garage parking which I refused. I was told street parking near the hotel was difficult and the best price for other garages would be EUR 80. As a frequent visitor to Vienna, I have never paid more than EUR 20 per 24-hour (for the same garage used by Hotel Wandl) and was also sure street parking was free at weekends - a fact confirmed to me by a local shop keeper and a policewoman. I only had to pay for street parking for 4 hours on Friday evening (total of EUR 8), Saturday and Sunday were free and also Monday as it was a public holiday. Overnight street parking was easy to find within 3 minutes walk of the hotel. At check-out, I wasn't asked if I enjoyed my stay - in fact I wasn't asked anything - just handed my bill and receipt. I told the receptionist of the car park issue and I got a shoulder shrug and comment about street parking being difficult to find sometimes. Generally, the reception staff were rude and abrupt apart from the pleasant and friendly young man who worked the night-time reception. Hotel is way overpriced, there are far better and cheaper hotels in the vacinity. This one just isn't worth the money.

Everything in this hotel was just perfect! its just in the center of vienna! Very nice rooms, friendly stuff, clean rooms and nice food in the morning! I would higly reccomend you staying there! The only bad thing was that they didnt have any double beds but only 2 single ones the one next to the other.

We were astonished as to how central we were located. It's in the absolute perfect spot one minute away from Stephans Dom, restaurants and shopping. The reception staff was incredible. They answered our questions about booking trains etc. and were so friendly and funny. We really appreciated them. The floor was super creaky in our room. No bathtub (but wonderful shower).
