Close to metro 2min walk Parking in a secure garage Staff very friendly Rooms and bed were excellent
The Wilhelmshof is a beautiful and modern hotel which makes you feel right at home. All the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. It's less than 5 min to the subway which will take you straight into the city's center.
Nothing really, othe than the overzealous cleaning lady, who changed out all the towels daily even though we didn't need them changed out. This is an environmentally friendly hotel after all.
Very relaxed atmosphere, stayed for a week and was very comfortable
The breakfast. Cleanliness Confortable room
I think it is a bit expensive.

If you're interested in The Third Man, the Wilhelmshof could hardly be better situated, just a couple of blocks from the Ferris wheel which features so prominently in the film. The building is in the classical style with an up-to-date, unique look, with hand-painted modernist swirls on the bedroom walls. The staff are as warm and welcoming as the rest of Vienna in winter. Breakfast is unhurried, varied and interesting.
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel, although if you like spa facilities it doesn't have them, but neither does it claim to have.
Great Breakfast Excellent modern large rooms with decent showers. Free Wi-Fi Terminals for guest use in reception Relaxed atmosphere and friendly close to underground & main station - easy from the Airport by train.
Position Room Cleanliness
Receptionist rude, one in particular (no doubt you will guess)
The staff were the friendliest and most helpful; we have ever encountered on out many city breaks. The rooms were spacious and individually decorated. Breakfast was excellent
Everything was very nice, the rooms are big, we had bath tab in the room. The view was great, to the good-looking buildings across the street. The hotel is a little nonconformistic organized, with a moto written on a wall in every room. I liked this very much. Very tasty and rich breakfast. The personnel was warm and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay there.
The outdoor patio was very nice and quiet to enjoy a drink or two. The rooms are fairly large compared to other European hotels we have stayed in the past.
No ramp at entrance for rolling luggage.
Nice modern decor and cosy outside terrace .
Staff very helpful, room very well appointed, bathroom spacious, lovely breakfast
The hotel is new and very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly, they made our stay a pleasant experience. The breakfast was great, a good variety of savoury and sweet. The hotel is not too far from the centre (15 min walk) and close to many shops and restaurants.
Not a major drawback, but in the evening the neighbourhood was a little sketchy... It was not unsafe, but there were at times people loitering or trying to sell stuff.
The artistic and modern design were very pleasing to the eye. Breakfast included an absolute array of fresh choices. Service by both the hotel staff and the breakfast staff was excellent; the room and bathroom, including a tub, were comfortable and spacious. Everything was first class!
Everything was perfect.
Staff was very attentive! Location was fabulous, hotel was quiet! Loved the automatic blinds in the penthouse!
They needed to get air circulated in the breakfast room. No table was put on the balcony. ( we needed a place to put down our glass of wine :-) )
Breakfast was great.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable.
Professional Staff Spacious Room
Convenient place – near to underground and S-Bahn lines, quiet surroundings, nicely decorated room (we booked Beethoven room), friendly and helpful personnel, good Wi-Fi connection
Strong permanent smell in the toilet room, a little bit limited choice for breakfast
Parking, breakfast, quality of the room were excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Outer seating area is nice, weather permitting.
The location is near many bars. If you're there on a weekend and have a room facing the street, be prepared to listen to loud and drunk barhoppers walking and talking loudly outside your window from 2-4 a.m.
The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was also very well done. We enjoyed the outside sitting area.
The water in the shower in room 521 was too hot, with no way to turn it down. The street noise was bad at times during the night.
Helpful staff, a clean and bright room, generous breakfast supported by friendly staff, tea-coffee maker in the room, Wi-Fi. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and U-Bahn.
Shower area is only partially enclosed, so shower water inevitably flows onto the floor outside of it. Could a shower curtain be added?
Very nice ,helpful staff ,clean and quiet hotel, breakfast it was really nice, lots of choices ,we were served at the table with any kind of coffee we liked..it was a great stay overall.
Room it was basic,i didn't think it was a 4* .I believe some other rooms were quite stylish judging by the photos up on their website.Otherwise we liked everything.
