It's a nice, modern and big hostel. You have an Aldi (supermarket) next to the hostel and also a market street in front of the hostel. The metro station is 3min apart.
You have to pay for using a computer with internet. It depens on the time but often you have to wait at the reception because there are a lot of people.
I think I found my perfect place to stay when I visit Vienna. The first thing I noticed is how clean is that place - right away I give 10 out of 10 here. Absolutely perfect staff - nice, welcoming people, willing to resolve any issues you might have. The location is right on spot for me, personally, and the prices are very reasonable. I will not hesitate at all to visit this hostel again.
Rooms are fairly big but the downside is people come in and out late at night and the echo is loud enough to keep me up.
- Warm place, good value for money, very close to the subway, very close to the center of the city, some supermarkets in the area.
good location, value for the money
customers have to prepare their bed themselves
Location was nice right at the metro and I could enjoyed flee market in front of the station. Near to the sight seeing point (walking distance). Grocery market is located at the same building. The staff were amazing they were so helpful. And breakfast was nice with reasonable price. I would like to stay there again for the next visit.
great location, close to the center and metro station, spacious room, bathroom clean, the staff friendly and willing to help, free wifi connection throughout the hostel, breakfast excellent, really excellent value for money
Beds are bad, pillows and mattress are very bad quality so it is not very comfortable to sleep, stairs to climb a bunk bed creak, a person who sleeps down is not pleasant if a person sleeping on the floor has few more kilos than they should! I would call beds as "beds for children in elementary school"!
Everything! The bed is not creaky like other hostels I've been to; the staffs are really friendly and hospitable; there's even a complimentary drink given; lots of open spaces in the lobby area for people to hang out and the lobby looks welcoming. The location is splendid! Next to the market where my friend and I can grab our meal. And we practically walk everywhere in Vienna without spending much on transport.
I don't like a toilet with only a toilet bowl and no sink. The sink was installed in the adjacent bathroom and it was simply inconvenient when you've used the toilet only to find that there's no sink to wash your hands.
Free towels, 1 min from subway
it's really nice with competitive prrice. Especially this hostel is newly built and the staffs are so helpful, kind, friendly. Also breakfast costs 3.5(maybe.. i dont remember exaxtly) anyway.. it's worth to pay.
Customers should cover and strip the bed sheet
Staff is really professional and 24/7 service is really perfect. Beds were comfortable and room quite clean. We did not have windows to the street so the place was quiet as well although hotel was full of young people. Location is quite good - right in front of amazing place - Naschmarkt.
friendly and helpful staff available at all hours
I highly reccomend this place to stay, its got very nice people ( espesially big thanks to Daniel and his friend who gave me the charger, if not you - I would not, probably, make my trip back to Praha) and stay in Vienna forever ( which I dont mind) I loved Vienna so much, and this hostel is one of many reasons why. Its not only about nice people, but they have got a free savety lock for your bags so you can leave everything inside and just enjoy Vienna and people around..the rooms are big and light and you feel very comfortable there, they have got a dining room and a little bar too ( with welcome drink), the breakfast is amazing ( everything is so fresh and wonderful). many thanks to Daniel again, because of you I love Vienna so much now..
hostel price for a hotel living
Wombat hostel exceeded expectations. big, comfortable rooms, good view over naschmarkt. We bought earplugs at reception but didn't need to use them. It had the buzz of a hostel but felt like a very good hotel standard.
Great kitchen with good facilities.WC ensuite. Near the most famous market in Vienna an in a walking distance of the main atractions.
We tought the recepcionists were a bit cold...But we checked in later in a Sunday..They must had a really busy day, so thats kinda normal.
The location is perfect but you might need some time to figure out the location because it is behind Naschmarkt.
Clean rooms, nice ambient ,lots of facilities.
Early check out ,10:00 AM
Everything ! Comfy beds, big rooms with lots of storage space, great breakfast, clean and the people at the reception are super friendly and helpful. Would definetly stay there again. Also the location is perfect
The room is very spacious. The breakfast, although not free, is cheap and great value for money.
good hostel for a few nights
some guests using hair dryer at 01:00 AM in my room, but it's not hostel's fault, just some really idiot people!
good location, very close to the station; room is clean and large. It is the best hostel that I lived in Europe.
The exellent location, very close to Metro station and Nasch market. Friendly & helpful staffs, great value and comfortable hostel.
Plenty of rooom in the dormitory Heat Overall Atmosphere
Very good value for money. Staff is friendly, shower and toilet looked very clean, shower was both hot and powerful enough. Close to public transport and several supermarkets.
Neigbourhood has a bit of a scruffy appearance compared to the nearby city centre.
