Very friendly owners catering very well also for unusual needs (my wife got sick and was really well taken care of) and a very good restaurant with local cuisine. The hotel is newly renovated and is a great hub from which to explore the Wachau.

Ausserordentlich gastfreundliches Besitzerpaar und die auserlesene Küche. WLAN etwas schwach. In der Hochsaison sind die Parkplätze rar.

Hotel und Zimmer toll und sehr, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.Essen hervorragend. Besitzer sehr familiär. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Gerne werden wir wiederkommen!

Ausgesprochen sympathische Gastgeber. Toll renoviertes Haus mit großen, extravagant eingerichteten Zimmern. Auch die Küche ist empfehlenswert. Ganz feines Frühstück mit erstklassigen Produkten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Aus dem Abfluss der Dusche unseres Zimmers (Nr.5) kam ein übler Geruch (Wetterumschwung). Die Gastgeber haben sich der Sache verständnisvoll angenommen und versichert, das Problem zu beheben.

Les chambre sont somptueuses amėnagė avec goût et amour. Le dinė ėtait merveilleux le foie grand digne d'un trois ėtoile. La gentillesse et le sens de l'accueil vous incite á y retournė.

Wunderbares Gesamtkonzept aus Lage, alter Architektur, stilvoller Einrichtung, sehr schönen Zimmern mit gediegener Ausstattung und perfekter Funktion (Betten, Bad, Dusche etc.). Vor allem aber lebt das Haus durch die wunderbaren Gastgeber, die durch Herzlichkeit und Professionalität den Aufenthalt zum Vergnügen machen. Im hoteleigenen Restaurant kocht die Chefin auf Haubenniveau und die Weine sind exzellent. Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen und Wiederkommen. Die potentiellen Nachteile sind konzept- bzw. lagebedingt. Das Gebäude ist aus dem 15. Jhdt., somit gibt es keinen Lift und keine Parkgarage. Für beide Fälle ist der Chef äusserst bemüht zu helfen. Wenn mans weiss, kann man sich einstellen, ansonsten fanden wir nicht den geringsten Grund zur Klage.

In jeder Hinsicht waren sowohl die Inhaber des Hotels sowie auch die Mitarbeiter bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen und ihr Bestes zu geben. Das Hotel bietet angenehmstes Wohnen in einem schmucken, mit viel Liebe zum Detail restaurierten alten Gemäuer. Die ideale Lage in nächster Nähe von Weinbergen, Heurigenlokalen und unweit der Donau bietet Erholung pur und den Idealfall eines Urlaubes in der Wachau. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Küche des Hotels- selten so gut gespeist!

A Hotel Ur-Wachau az egyik legcsodálatosabb szálloda, fantasztikus belső miliővel, igazán szuper konyhával. Mégis a tulajdonos házaspár igazi vendégszeretete és mindent a vendégekért akarása volt a legjobb élmény.

Das Ehepaar Roisl kümmert sich liebevoll und familiär um die Gäste. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war fantastisch. Sehr empfehlenswert!
