The room, in an adjacent building, was spacious, modern and comfortable. The shower was fully-enclosed, which is always a bonus.
The staff was frienfly and helpful. Breakfast had variety and was fresh. The hotel is not in the older city center, but Tram 1, half a block away, takes you there in 10 minutes. I would stay there again but only if I had a room away from the street (see "what I did not like").
NOISE. My room faced Fritz-Konzert-Strasse, which is busier than its two lanes might suggest, with car, truck and tram noise most of the night. This made sleeping a problem for me. Also, there is a street lamp directly across the street from the annex building I was in and the room was not really very dark. Finally, the person cleaning on Saturday morning started early and, for several hours while I was trying to sleep, walked back and forth on the tile floor in shoes with heavy wooden heels. Tap tap tap for over two hours. It seems like an overly-picky point, but when you haven't slept well, it becomes a real issue.
