Η τοποθεσία ήταν σχετικά κοντά στα αξιοθέατα, 10 λεπτά περπάτημα από Mirabell και 20 από Altstadt. Το πρωινό πολύ καλό. Το οικογενειακό δωμάτιο 408 είχε δύο ξεχωριστά υπνοδωμάτια. Των γονέων πολύ καλό, το παιδικό σχετικά μικρό με δύο καναπέδες κρεβάτια που ούτε άνετα ήταν ούτε σταθερά. Το δωμάτιο ήταν στην πλευρά του δρόμου και για αυτό είχαν διπλά παράθυρα, αποτελεσματικά για το θόρυβο, αλλά χωρίς δυνατότητα ανάκλισης και σε ύψος 1,60μ. άρα χωρίς θέα. Μας επέτρεψαν να αφήσουμε το αυτοκίνητο στο πάρκινγκ και αφού είχαμε κάνει check out χωρίς χρέωση.

Τα κρεβάτια για τα παιδιά ήταν απαράδεκτα, ενώ πληρώσαμε τετράκλινο. Σε τετράκλινο υπήρχαν μόνο ένα σαπούνι, ένα μπουκαλάκι για ντους και ένα με bodylotion, μόνο δύο ποτήρια. Στο μεγάλο μπάνιο δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα σημείο για να κρεμάσεις τις πετσέτες. Γενικά τα 131 € την ημέρα ήταν πάρα πολλά για αυτό το δωμάτιο.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. good breakfast and till 10:30am which meant we didnt have to rush around.

no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would have made it perfect. They changed the bed linen and towels every day which was excessive especially with global warming!

quick attention to a TV problem

we were billed twice for one night...once on the reservaton online and again we we checked out...still has not been resolved

Achat had a convenient surface parking lot and the location was easily accessible to the main train station and roadways.

ACHAT's star rating should be lower, overall. The hotel is outdated and cramped. Furnishings felt cheap and the bathroom was barely functional. The hairdryer seemed from the 1960s - a big wall mounted machine that had little more wind power than me blowing on my own head. :-) And the shower fixtures slipped about spraying water all over the floor. Breakfast was iffy, the food was luke warm and had fruit flies swarming about. The walk to old town is far enough to be problematic for anyone without a lot of energy or with physical issues. Thankfully, the main bus and train line is nearby. Request a room away from the main street - it was warm at night but we couldn't open the window due to noise.

The location was a little far out of town and not convenient for dining close to the hotel. The only comfortable lounge area was designated for smoking.

The rooms were very clean and roomy. We were only there for one night with our grown children but the rooms were quiet even though they were on the street side.

The air conditioning didn't work in our children's room and they had to switch rooms late in the evening. It took the desk manager a while to decide that it was the airconditioning and not something that we had done before he offered a change of rooms. The location was a bit far from the sites and it was difficult to find food later in the evening without walking back to the center of town.

Open parking availability

We reduced reservations from 4 to 3 (!) rooms 26 hrs before arrival time, which is officially declared 2:00 pm. Nevertheless, when cheking in, we were told the cancellation had to be made 24 hours before arrival date (that is 00:00 am). There was nothing to do to convince hotel: we had to pay for one night: this lack of flexibility will keep us far from this location for the next years.
