Excellent value for money and great location. Only a small hotel, but the staff were all first class and the inclusive breakfast was as good as you would find anywhere. |

Booking arrangements and check in were smooth, the hotel was in a fabulous position close to all Vienna's main sights - the opera house, palace, spanish riding school, luxury shops etc all were within walking distance. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and could also speak English. Great breakfast! There was a bit of daytime noise due to essential electricity works outside for a few days but that was beyond the control of the hotel and was kept within reasonable hours. The hotel windows were double glazed so this helped. |

Price. Kindness/friendliness of staff. Location. Bathroom toilet was so close to the wall in front of it that is was difficult to use. Shower stall drain was partly clogged, though they did try to fix it. |

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very nice with plenty of choice. Hotel is the perfect location in the city. The bathroom in our room was very small but is the only negative I could possibly think of with this lovely hotel. |

Staff were most efficient and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room tastefully traditional & authentic, (no air conditioning) Hotel location was very central for a city break.. Not the hotel's fault~Narrow road where sounds carry, particularly week-end nights~ followed by early morning rubbish clearing regularly. Breakfast~I understand we are in Austria, but for strenuous city break I would have liked the option of a more familiar English Breakfast. |

They dazzled our four year old daughter with smiles, jokes and candy. She also was impressed with the decorative canopy over the bed. The breakfast buffet was very good and interesting, although didn't include American favorites like pancakes and eggs. The only warm items were hardboiled eggs. However, we didn't mind. It was fun eating the included breakfast on china dishes with roses. They gave our four year old colorful plastic character dishes that she loved. Plenty of hot water and the pressure was fine. It was exotic and fun to have super high ceilings with decorative moldings and a chandelier. Without air conditioning it can get hot in the summer. You need to use the provided fan with the windows open. If you have the windows open, you can hear revelers at the restaurant across the street. However, they provide good earplugs for free that really work well. They only provide wall mounted bathing gel and soap. The shower door was a tad difficult to open and close (it had three panels and was a little old). The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but then many European rooms do not. |
