Central location Characterful hotel Lovely breakfast
Bathroom quite small but adequate
The location is excellent. The staff was so nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel because it is close to all the touristic places in Vienna ,in addition to the excellent services and the nice staff.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent location with easy walking distance to Vienna historic sites.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very Good Breakfast. Great Location. About 6 restaurants within 200 metres. Excellent Internet. Small Hotel 22 Rooms has a family feel about it. Able to chat with other guests in breakfast room.
No Air Conditioning. Would be a problem in summer months. Had to sleep with window open in October 2014 (It was 21 C during day) which then allowed noise from street to filter through. It is a no vehicle street, but delivery Vans are allowed in from about 6:00 a.m. Small Rooms but OK for 2 people.
Location Appearance Staff Breakfast Exceptional touch to be welcomed with a glass of Sekt after travelling. These little touches along with cloth napkins, towels of decent quality do contribute.
Had to close the windows to sleep due to late night revellers and early morning deliveries, garbage collection etc. the room is a bit stuffy with the windows closed but the fan helps. When it comes time for a new bed frame get something with rounded corners. It's a small room and both of us cracked our shins on the corner of the bed.
The personnel are very knowledgeable and friendly, will go out of their way to help.
The breakfast is not what I'm used to in the hotels I use in Germany and Austria. They don't really have the space that most hotels have, hence the offering is somewhat limited.
The location of the hotel is excellent. We got very good advice from members of the staff who were always at hand to assist us. They also helped in making bookings and suggesting excursions, routes etc. thank you.
I would have liked to have a kettle to make tea or coffee in the room. And found the bathroom with our room particularly small.
location, cleanliness, olde world ambience, adequate room
noise at night AND early morning so very broken sleep breakfast room was too cramped for comfort no tea/coffee facilities in rooms
Only the location was nice. Everything else was a nightmare.
Just few selected examples: The hotel did not provide any parking place. The receptionist showed me a place where parking is possible, but in two hours he told me that he forgot to inform me that I can park there only till 5 a.m.!!! The hotel was not willing to provide a crib for our baby! The room was too small, shaby and uncomfortable. Bathroom was so small that any movement there was impossible.
The staff of this small family hotel could not have been more helpful friendly and efficient. It's position within short walking distance of the heart of the old, inner, city was wonderful. Ii is close to many places to eat and drink. The buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful.
The room was small but adequate for a short stay.
The location of this hotel was amazing. The staff, especially Andrea, were very friendly and helpful.Would definitely recommend.
Parking was expensive but that's Vienna.
Excellent position in the city, excellent breakfast, breakfast room tiny and cramped but as it is a small Hotel probably not a lot can be done, wifi also good, staff helpful with directions
Very cramped room, a single, equally tiny bathroom, towels need replacing, old and thin, bed sheet had holes,
The location is excellent and the staff are very, very helpful.
Charming staff, fabulous breakfasts, helpful information and all within five minutes walk of the cathedral and opera house. Fantastic.
Since this was a central hotel, there could be noise in the street outside, but there was double glazing and ear plugs were on the bedside for those who were very light sleepers. Central hotels cannot be peaceful so we felt everything had been done to help.
very clean rooms, good breakfast, very very very friendly staff !!!!!!!!!!. Perfect location
The staff is excellent, goes way beyond to assist and they are very friendly. The location couldn't be better.
I won't say I didn't like, but the Breakfast was not quite up to what I have been accustomed to in Europe. Just a slight negative, but not enough to prevent my staying there again. They only have so much space and there being only one attendant, it is difficult to keep up with a room full of guests.
Location Staff Breakfast staff
Street noise at night (window open) Squeaky floor
Travelled with our 3 teenagers, their first time in Vienna. All the sights/activities were at our doorstep, yet the location was intimate. Not perfectly quiet, but surprisingly quiet for it's proximity to "the action". We enjoyed the small, outdoor table area for breakfast and later in the day we could sit there and access the hotel wifi. Very conscientious staff!! They even hung on to our 5 travel bags after we checked out until 10pm the next night (night train), despite the fact that they took up 50% of the lobby space!
The rooms are tight, especially the room with the extra bed, but the bathrooms extraordinarily tiny. Nonetheless, toilet, sink, and shower are all provided.
Our room was not so big, it was ok. Personelle and location were amazing.
BUT, the wc was incredably small. Although I'm a tiny girl, I couldn't fit my legs while sitting :p
You can't beat the location of this hotel..if you want to be in the centre of things in Vienna this is it. Very nice staff and good breakfast.
Very small bathroom.
Overpriced for size of room. Bed very uncomfortable.
Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location
Our room on the top floor was poorly ventilated, hot, and stuffy.
This charming hotel is in a perfect location for walking tourists. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and a very friendly and caring staff. This old and refurbished hotel is very clean and our room was cute and cozy. Perfect for a romantic weekend in Vienna.
The dining room had a very nice parlor like ambience, however it was a bit small during busy breakfast hour. Suggest having breakfast early before other guests join you for their lovely and simple breakfast buffet.
We like the location, the delicious breakfast and the weekend staff.
The noise from the street in the middle of the night. Our room was right above some smoking tables for the hotel and we could not have our window open without getting the smell of smoke. We would not rate it a non smoking room!
POSITION WAS PERFECT STAFF VERY HELPFUL
NO KETTLE IN ROOM
