A Great Ocean View Motel  

Große Zimmer , der Blick auf das Wasser , Strand .

Alter Kasten . Nicht sauber . Da die Zimmertür leider überhaupt nicht abgedichtet ist und es in dieser Nacht sehr windig war , hat es die ganze Nacht ins Zimmer gezogen , wir mussten unsere Kleidung vor die Türe legen . In der früh stand schon eine halbe Stunde vor Check Out das Zimmerpersonal vor der Türe ... Sie konnten es kaum erwarten , dass wir aus den Zimmer verlassen !

This motel has The best views of the ocean in Apollo bay. The rooms are small and clean with big windows out to the sea! The staff were helpful and friendly, and it is only a short walk to town. I would definately return.

On arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to a very comfortable room. We spent a pleasant 2 nights in the motel. All the staff were helpful especially directing us to Cape Otway where we were able to see koalas in their natural environment. What a sight. Apollo Bay halfway along the GOR so an ideal stopping off point.

Rather a dark walk into town so would not recommend the walk. Some of the pathway close to town was poorly lite. Not a negative reflection on the motel.

The people were very happy and helpful. The hotel is in a good location just a very quick walk from town but with great water views that many other motels lacked and no noise from tourists and traffic etc. We liked the comfy but firm bed...great for our backs and sound sleep

Fantastic view of the Southern Ocean through large panoramic windows with balcony. On edge of town so quiet but is walking distance to town centre. Ideal. We chose the second foor for the best view.

The bed was very comfortable. Good location with nice view out to sea.

The TV jutted out into the room and my wife hit her head on it twice and also had a few near misses. It's very dangerous. Also, there was no free wifi.

The view from our room was fantastic. We arrived on Good Friday at 11 am and the room was ready which was great! The motel is run by a very friendly couple, very helpful.

You had to pay for your Wi-Fi.

Very clean and comfortable motel with friendly staff. Upstairs unit would be better for a view.

Nothing I can fault

The position was excellent for anyone travelling the Great Ocean Road and convenient for the restaurants of Apollo Bay. The room was pleasantly appointed and had a lovely view over the sea.

Location is excellent.

Motel was a bit "tired". Time for a makeover. Breakfast virtually non-existent; not what was expected. (Fortunately, we provided our own.)

Loved the view and the location. It really was quite special. Comfy bed.

Really Cheap wine glasses, flutes only, not suitable for red or white wine. A really basic, narrow opening toaster but no plates or a knife? A kettle with a cord when a cordless kettle would be more appropriate. Towels need to be replaced, thin and past their prime. Bathroom also past its prime. We would still go back, but attention to a few of the little things would make for a better stay. (We will definitely bring our own glasses - the cheap ones on offer spoiled our good wine).

Great location with fabulous views over the ocean (particularly on the top floor). Spacious, clean and comfortable room.

The view and the access to town

This is a delightful motel. Not fancy, but, a very nice stop, a mile or so from town and across the road from the ocean. Quiet and well equipped, no need to spend more.

View was amazing as was the position of the hotel. Service was fantastic. Room was very clean and had everything we were looking for.

Unfortunately we were in the last room on the end so had noise and campfire smell from the backpackers site next door. Apart from that, it was very comfortable if not a little overpriced.
