It's a glorified hostel, no more. My room was ridiculously expensive, albeit it was a Sydney weekend and every hotel price in the city was hiked. The staff were friendly, even housekeeping when they came to change my 'clean bedding' to others without make-up and hair on it. I could hear pretty much EVERYTHING from next door through the adjoining door, even though it wasn't particularly loud. At least that couple seemed to be enjoying the hotel. I originally booked in for 2 nights but I'm grateful to the hotel (and to booking.com) to allow me to cancel the 2nd night without charge. The place was noisy in the late evening, early morning as quite a few of the rooms have 2 bunkbeds in each room which - rightly so - attracts a younger, more adventurous crowd.

Good location. Across the road from Paddy Markets. It is a glorified hostel. But a very expensive one. The lift was the worst i've ever been in. I would have taken the stairs only there wasnt any!!!! Plenty of fire doors to lock you in if there was a fire though! The bathroom was horrific. Fan went on all night. Felt like I was in an old ferry or something it was so confined. 5 beds in the room and we booked a superior double room. And it was over $180!!!! Have travelled through loads of Australia and so far has been the worst place we've stayed. Never again!

location was close to what we wanted to see/do. located close to central railway station mould(?) on ceiling in room presented a concern with one of family an asthmatic. steps up to main bed rather steep and dangerous, as was small step down to where bunk beds were, especially without any signage. size of rooms especially with this a supposed deluxe room ceiling fan didn't work

It was a good price for a good location. Close to places we wanted to visit and public transport was easily accessible. Staff were very helpful at helping us find parking for our bus as we had problems with the height limit. We had twelve people staying for a weekend surprise trip for our mum so it was good to find a place where we only needed to book two rooms where everyone good stay together. Some of the signs that were up for things near by had the wrong prices on them as the price had increased.

It was horrible. Right from the moment we walked in and had a trainee receptionist who made a complete hash of all of our check-ins, with other staff then having to fix it later (mistakes which they never even apologised for). The decor and fixtures are very dated and getting quite worn out in places. I had a cockroach, a colleague had lights that wouldn't turn on, we felt like we were staying in a backpackers hostel. What took the cake was another women staying who had a fight with her boyfriend. He locked her out in the corridor and it took over 15 minutes of her screaming abuse at the top of her lungs and kicking the door before someone came upstairs. As their room was opposite the stairwell, the reception area would have been getting a perfect accoustic rendition. There was families with young children staying on the same floor, they must have been terrified.

The convenience of the position in Sydney. Transport at your door. The shopping at your finger tips. The staff being friendly and helpful. After staying at Arrons Sydney Hotel for the last six years for business and pleasure there is no where else I would stay in the city. For an easy and care free stay in Sydney try Arrons Hotel. No complaints. Love it. See you in a few months.

Aarons Sydney Hotel was great for us, just staying overnight for shopping and sight-seeing, the staff were very helpful with directions and free buses that were available to us, the rooms were clean and pleasant, I would return to should we visit Sydney again. The only bad thing I can say about Aarons was that the single bunk beds were squeaky, but that would not stop me returning to this hotel, top marks still!!

We were close to the mono and light rail, and also the Central Railway Station. 1) The room was a 'shoebox'. On your website, there was no photo that adequately showed the size of the room or placement of amenities within the room. 2) We were not told that we had to pay for the room in total until we arrived at the hotel. 3) We were not told that we had to pay for the breakfast rather than use the deposit on the room, even though you had our credit card details.

That you helped fix up my accommodation to a room that better suited my needs That when the house maids came into my room to make the beds up they continuously pulled off the sheets on bottom bunk even though I told them I was using it and I constantly had to re make it every night after a big day out in the city...not happy when I paid extra costs for the extra person and the bed keeps getting un made.

They held our luggage for us for 2 hours & had pleasant reception staff. We didn't like the bathroom, there was no hot water at all for our showers, the rooms were very stuffy & had kitchen cooking smells & certainly didn't like the drunken rampages & arguments in the hallways at 2 am & again at 6am on the sunday morning.
