It was very nice, comfortable and peaceful place to stay and we enjoyed it very much so.
I didn't really like that the apartments do not get room service, considering you have to pay more for them, I would of though that I would of been able to get room service to the room.
No Wifi in the room and expensive to use in reception
It was clean and staff were friendly. It was close to the local shops.
Unfortunately there was no stove top, only a BBQ outside and microwave in room. The decor was a bit dated but clean.
The central location made it easier to get around Geographe Bay
The thin walls, the hard beds and the noisy air-con.
Cleanliness and value for money
100% enjoyed everything about te stay from the location, service, facilities and food. Very romantic setting. Thank you
Loved the spa bath. Staff were extremely helpful.
I couldn't spend more time there, due to appointments either side of booking in.
The property is looking tired and dated. Rooms need a make over.
Having to pay for wifi and food was poor
No roomwifi No room safe No in room movies
Staff were very welcoming, knowledgable & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but it looked well equiped & certainly clean & tidy. We had the top floor which was great, stairs only, no elevator but it's only 2 levels so wasn't a problem for us.
Nothing that we didn't like, it was lovely. It's an older place but well looked after & has a really great feel about it.
location, facilities, buildings and surroundings, gardens and ocean access
parking a bit tight for the 12 seater van
We had Suite 22 . It was in a lovely area overlooking the park and ocean . Very roomy apartment
I believe it was Suite 24 situated above us. The family of four included two small children who ran across the floor and it sounded like rolling thunder. Even the adults were heavy footed. I guess families should be on the ground floor and not above maître couples
This was a return trip after five years and it certainly did not disappoint. The concept of having no cars on the accommodation roads is great and allows a peaceful and quiet environment, much appreciated as a break from urban noise. The rooms are great and the beach is at the doorstep. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant and the staff were great. Top marks!
Love the proximity to the beach and walk/cycle paths.
The whole experience at Abbey Beach was delightful. The suite was clean and comfortable, well set out,and the staff there were all very obliging.
we could not fault any aspect of the resort.
The holiday was excellent. We love the hotel. It is always very clean and in a great location.
It is a bit on the expensive side so we don't usually eat in.
Closeness to the beach
View of the sea was obscured by growing trees
Shud have a floor towel in batch rm
We enjoyed the entire stay, wish it had been longer,
N/A no complaints - all good.
Size of room was great as i was travelling with two older teenagers. Everything you needed was there and great location to the beach
We were on the bottom floor and obviously the room above had small chidren . We could hear every footstep they were taking. And every time we went to cook bacon and eggs we set the fire alarm off.
There was a conference on at the same time
The beach within walking distance was very nice. Also good to have a playground for young children.
The resort is a long way out of town. There were also a small number of lifts, none of which were near our room.
That it was clean staff were friendly and helpful and we had a view of the pool
Being told bistro unavailable AFTER we had booked(conference).we should have been told at time of booking!
We liked the location of Abbey Beach and the rooms were great
