Location was great. Staff were helpful and attentive. The treats in the minibar was a lovely touch.
The noise off the side street in the morning.
Bed is comfortable Bathroom is clean Nice decor
Seated check-in is slow Hotel smells too sweet of sugar
The staff were the best ever!
Staff Location Hotel
The staff are excellent, obliging and happy. Close to Flinders station, lots of good eateries and wine bars close by. Free complimentary drink on arrival. Good sized rooms, Complimentary non alcoholic drinks in mini bar. Complimentary lolly jar, naughty but nice. Movies included. Good breakfast
No tea or coffee facilities in room but found out too late you could order them (why not just put them in all the rooms?) Lower floors a bit noisy early morning. Air con a bit noisy, better if you turn it off before hitting the sack.
Nice to have lollies and drinks free in the room. The room was cold and really difficult to hear though. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
It was a bit noisy.
Attention to detail and outstanding staff. Decadent sense from the moment you walk in. The Om Nom dessert bar in the lobby was incredible too.
very comfortable bed
very noisy water leaked under the shower screens and made the floor dangerously slippery very uncomfortable sofa cheap furnishings lack of atmosphere
Ni kettle in room
Staff was wonderful Location is excellent Breakfast and bar
The shower's temperature fluctuated continuously from very hit to cold. The air conditioning was really, really noisy, so that at night it needed to be turned off, because the noise would keep us awake. This meant sleeping in a stuffy, yet cold, room, and it was not comfortable at all. Some of the design is frankly non functional: the bathroom offers two small hooks for towels, and one of its walls is made of glass, which means that if you are travelling with someone and the someone uses the bathroom during the night, you wake up with the light from the bathroom.
Interesting room. Glass of wine on arrival
Everything is good
What was not to like about Adelphi. The staff - very friendly and obliging. The facilities - really well maintained and presented Location - Set in the heart of the city, with nearly everything you could want within walking distance (GREAT)
A little expensive. But ok now and then for the special occasion.(40th wedding anniversary ) The nights can be a little noisy in the lane way, but that's what the ear plugs are for. I would recommend Adelphi though, for the experience alone.
Helpful, friendly staff. Funky decor especially reception area.
The noise!!!! A real turnoff. The trolleys rumbling past for several hours on a Saturday evening were really irritating especially as my daughter was feeling unwell and we were very tired after a long day of travelling. Also on level 3 noise from outside the building was very noticeable.
Enjoyed the building and the pool
a little bit noisy in the early morning
The ambience and the staff and the comfort of the room.
I was running on a fairly tight schedule to ensure that I didn't miss a plane and found the breakfast timing slow; not being self service but reception took the initiative to get a cab for me which made up time.
It was the personal touches like writing welcome message on the mirror thenlater, upon discovering it was my wife's birthday writing a birthday wish to her. The macaroons on the pillow at night, the sweets in the room, the free mini bar and especially free WiFi. Also the lap pool on the roof that sticks out over the Trafford. But the thing i remember was that we had to leave suddenly due to a death in the family and they refused to allow me to pay for the second night. We can't wait to return.
The steam room is for staff only...but that's ok.
The room's bed, very comfortable. The dessert @the lobby café.
Toiletries not complete.
Location and staff were excellent. The lolly jar and free soft drinks in the room were a lovely touch.
Service was exceptional.
Staff were very accommodating, pool is amazing (even when its drizzling and 12 degrees), the in room lolly bar is a nice touch. The location was amazing
Our room had an odd musty smell. You got used to it eventually, but it was quite strong when you opened the door. No robes, which meant you had to ride the lift in your swimmers if you wanted to use the pool (a bit awkward). Rooms were looking a tiny bit tired.
Nice small trendy hotel, cool environment, love the little detail on the service they do..
The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we liked the big ensuite with walk-in shower. All the staff were very helpful & friendly.
