pool, proximity to town.
Receptionist was condescending and unhelpful. Our first room had no hot water and broken fan in bathroom & wasn't clean. Our 2nd room had a broken towel rail. Street view was dingy. Not worth the $217 paid for. As and apartment I assumed it would have more facilities; it was little more than a room with minimal cooking facilities and no laundry
kitchen, laundry, bathroom facilities the suite was excellent for business meetings
It was like having our own Private Pool seemed to have it mostly to ourselves.
No big deal but the outside was being painted at the time we were there.
it is the second time we used a aquest ,and have enjoyed both.nice clean rooms, you cuold live in .we overlooked pool on this occastion.
Location of appartments
On the small side
Our room was adjacent the Woolworths store. Every night at about 3am the trucks arrived for unloading. The workers turned on their radio and made no effort to speak softly. This went on for hours each of the three nights of our stay. This was only half of it - the rest of the night we were woken by the loud drunken antics of locals. I am absolutely not exaggerating. We were in Darwin for a triathlon so a good night sleep was really important. We complained on the second night and were moved to a larger unit around the corner. The noise from the trucks was reduced, but the drinken caterwauling did not. Paid nearly $1000 for 3 nights this irredeemably bad experience. Sleeping in the car started to look like a better option at one point.
Dripping tap in bathroom
Darwin hotels too expensive for what they are. This one rated as 4.5 star - no way!
Staff were helpful -Clare and Fazela at reception. And Kelly in booking Very clean and comfortable Liked pool area
Washing machines in laundry seemed a bit basic and did not clean well. Cost - stayed 2 nights but not a 3rd because cost acceptable 1st night but more expensive on others. Would have been good to have had discount for 3 night stay, for example.
I was disappointed with the room type I had chosen. After a request, the staff were able to upgrade me for three nights of the 4 I was staying, because of a cancellation. This was done with no extra charge.
The extra surcharge for using a credit card. This really adds up if you are staying for 4 nights that we were. Our choice, of course, but annoying all the same.
Staff were great asked for upgrade and they did their best by giving us two nights in a better room.
Studio room was a lot smaller than appeared in photos ! And decor very dated.
Central position, within walking distance of supermarket, bus stop, downtown Darwin.
Very clean, comfortable.. there is no negative thing coming to my mind. Perfect place to spend time in Darwin
Position was good
We stayed there for 4/ Nights , bed was made once. Booked for 4/ Nights & we were told that we only had 3 Nights so they cancelled our card. Had to get it reactivated when we got home that night.
Rooms quite spacious, kitchen well supplied with crockery glasses etc. Quiet, comfortable beds, great location and clean.
Bathrooms a bit tired. A carton of long life milk would have been welcome, instead of those little portions. It was quite expensive for a place that is not exactly luxurious.
The location was fantastic, everything you could need was within easy walking distance. The room itself was very clean and well appointed with enough space to feel relaxed.
I found the bed a little hard but not unbearable and a couple of the pillows were 'past their use-by date'.
Close to Supermarket and bus stop.good air con and ceilingfans. spacious, quiet. Nice pool. Good kitchen, stove and equipment.
the bed was uncomfortable, ridge in the middle of the bed
Great location, easy walking distance to shops, supermarket (basically next door) and waterfront. Great apartment that was well appointed, clean and spacious. Fantastic, friendly staff. I've stayed at Quest apartments in various cities, and they are my hotel of choice. Never disappointed!
Bed was a little hard for my preference, but you get that in hotels!
Location Comfortable bed Balcony - enabled my elderly mother to enjoy a smoke. Secure parking.
High bath Small shower recess Position: seven days directly opposite Woolworth's loading zone was a bit much with noise continuous day and night and especially early morning. Trucks - roller door - forklift. Booking for this accommodation was made 9 months in advance and it would have been nice to have a quieter position. Being charged for parking that was already paid by cash.
Proximity to town
-Broken toilet -Only 1 working shower -Broken dishes -5 hours to do 2 loads of laundry, even though most of it got hung around the unit to dry. -cost
The rooms are spacious, clean and we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment when we arrived. Everything was fantastic. It's close to the Woolworths for shopping, and everything in Darwin City is really within walking distance - so being at this location, although 'remote' from the centre, wasn't an issue.
Booking.com never sends through comments to the hotel when you ask for things - such as a portacot - luckily we were able to get one up to our room after we arrived (late 9.30pm).
Location was central and Studio room was a good size. Great pool and towels easily available for the pool. Rooms were well serviced.
Unfortuately no balcony with our studio and it appears the hotel is not serviced on Sundays. Room was not ready at check in (3 p.m.) and bedding configuration not correct at first. Some staff appeared distracted with other work when asking questions about getting around the city.
Clean and comfortable, good location, presented nicely, spacious
The room smelled like BBQ sauce from the moment we stepped inside. We couldn't get rid of the smell even after trying to air it out
Close to super market and shops easy walk to many city attractions Comfortable apartment with dishwasher , washing machine, dryer and drying rack All the windows opened for fresh air Great air con and fans Nice sunny balcony Pool on first floor Barbecue facilities near pool Movies to hire at office Pantry service if you want apartment stocked for your arrival
Under cover car parking was rather expensive
