Overated boutique hotel. If you booked by internet it appears you are treated as substandard guest. Quality of food - in room and restaurant - is overpriced and substandard . Makes the Maccas across road look good. Staff vague about surrounding areas. Four seasons Hotel nearby looks way better location. Constant reminders in restaurant etc that if you pay by credit card you pay a surcharge. Unbelievable attitude in this day and age.

It is difficult to turn on the steam room. There are no instructions and it seems to turn on and off irrespective of the on switch. Similarly the function of the sauna is substandard

Location was good and the room was excellent.

I thought $60 per night for an extra bed was a bit exorbitant. Also they were a bit tight about allowing late check-out and added $20 to the bill for a 1 hour late checkout even though the manager had agreed to not charge. When I pointed this put the charge was removed.

Having stayed there before, I went back because I knew the rooms would be well presented, the staff courtious and the location great for a stay in the city. Once again it lived up to my expectations, it's a lovely hotel.

Well placed in terms of restaurants and shops, close to all other city amenities and places of interest, conveniently placed for transport to and from city, good views over harbour area. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed with good layout. Can't complain!

Left alone to come and go as I pleased. Was offered immediate assistance when asked for.

The Hotel is in the perfect location for all the top attractions in Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean.

I found it not anywhere near the kind of 5star hotels I've stayed in before. The original room we booked was nowhere near the standard it shown to be on the internet, needless to say only one night was spent in it. The bed linen was not changed when it was asked for. The lights in the bathroom blew half way through our stay, and reception sent a porter up to try and fix it. Needless to say we had to improvise and use the one beside lamp that worked. Only one of the bedside lamps worked. The key cards for the lifts were forever not working. The business centre could do with a good dusting down. They were never enough towels down at the leisure centre/swimming pool. In my personal opinion it should be downgraded to a four star. Don't think I'll be staying there again in a hurry!

Was there for nye. The hotel had a good price compairing to other hotels at this time in Sydney's center, near by the circular quay. The room was good in general with a big nice bathroom.

I travel a lot and this was the most expensive but tired 5 star hotel I have stayed in the last 5 years. never again sorry !

Good clean hotel with good spacious rooms. The Location is just amazing with harbour bridge and opera house just a stones throw away.... Really happy with my stay there, though i stayed during the New Year peak period and hence the value for money bit was a bit lacking.... Still a very good experience....

Better value for money and competitive rates would help...

Great location, good amenities and friendly, courteous staff.

Think for the nightly rate they could afford to supply internet free of charge to guests. Also would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of still water rather than paying $5 for one!
