The staff were very accommodating with a very early check in and a late check out. The balcony was a bonus - the room was quiet, warm, and the hotel was very easy for public transport. What a great place - we will be back!!!
Nothing to fault
location was perfect, our son lives just around the corner, it was central to cafes, trams, access to the apartment was good, facilities excellent, we felt secure. the staff were helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and very, very helpful. I will definitely go there again. Great location - close to all Balaclava has to offer which is a lot!!!
Although clean overall, some parts were missed e.g. cupboard fronts and table surfaces
Questionable stains on the couch, an off scent when you walked in the apartment, all the dishes were gritty, greasy and clearly dirty had to re clean it all myself and the bathroom was dirty to the point where I only felt comfortable wearing thongs in the shower... Paid extra for the deluxe room for a romantic weekend away not worth it at all! Never staying here again!!
Good location. Clean room, spacious lounge area. Good size shower. Having secure parking
Not very well signed from the street. Initial parking was terrible, until you have checked in and can use the secure parking area. Not being able to go from the parking garage to your apartment floor in the lift
The entire set of apartments are in all very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The room I stayed in was generous in size, I could definitely see myself staying longer than a few days. One of the most outstanding aspects, however, was the staff at reception who were incredible helpful, funny and super nice :) aside from the reception hours, it pretty much felt like a hotel - would definitely, definitely recommend!
I stayed in a room facing the street so it could get a little noisy occasionally, but there was nothing too loud that I could not sleep
The bathroom was great and the kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. Decor was ok and space just enough. Lovely heater in bedroom.
All ok except the horrible blanket and bedspread it looked revolting and unclean, Ink please up grade, sheets and towels fine. Had to sleep under sheets with clothes over us so yukky and made our stay not as good as it should have been.
Friendly staff, quiet area while being close to Main Street, nice size rooms.
Cutlery etc maybe needed another wash, shower didn't have much pressure, other than this, fine =]
Handy and comfortable when travelling with a baby. Aldi downstairs for quick access to supplies. Short walk to Chapel Street Cafes. Staff friendly and helpful.
A bit off the beaten track. Supplies in Self Contained kitchen average. have been to good places that supply coffee / tea, but we had bare scratchings of washing liquid. We needed towels changed but only found out they wouldn't change these on a Sunday when going to reception to request new ones. Other than those minors all good.
Great secure parking. Close proximity to The Avenue Hospital. Staff were very accomodating and very quiet at night.
I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. Also how quiet it was to sleep. For a city location, there wAs no noise, no tram bells, nothing. As my son swims competitively, he even had an arvo sleep as so quiet. Perfect location. Close enough to everything but the right distance away!!
Nothing at all.. WAs perfect!!!
Aldis at the ground floor, it made shopping for food very convenient.
Some of the kitchen utensils, cups, etc. were dirty.
Beds bit cheap and room stuffy with no window
Helpful staff Great bus to the airport. convenient location. Very clean and comfortable.
No coffee plunger - not everyone wants to go out for coffee all the time. Inadequate supply of tea and sugar to last 2 days over a Sunday non-service break. Silly little thimbles of preserved milk in fridge - why not just provide a small carton of fresh milk! So much less packaging to throw away and tastes better. Blinds didn't block out all the light at night - lights were going on and off which was disturbing. Towels could have been slightly bigger.
Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of space in the apartment. This was my third time staying at Apartments Ink, and I enjoy my stay every time.
Road noise from passing traffic. Not enough parking spots available. I paid for secure parking, but found the Apartments Ink car park full, so I had to park in the Aldi car park instead.
The staff tried their best but there were not enough staff on hand and so service was minimal. Location is handy to the beach, shops, cafes etc.
The room was tiny, the finishings were cheap and we were unfortunately woken at 4am by drunken guests. The latter was not the fault of the hotel but it did not enhance the experience!
Good space in rooms Quiet location Adjoining bedrooms ,privacy Good size balcony and courtyard
Bit of a hassle getting from car park to rooms , maze!but got the hang of it by the end
This apartment in a large complex was extremely roomy with all the facilities we required. Having our married son and daughter in law share the apartment was no problem as the apartment is extremely roomy and well equipped. Perfect for 2 couples. We also walked sensible distances on Inkerman Street to dinner on the 2 nights we were there and had great meals both times.
St Kilda is a good half hour from downtown Melbourne if using (admittedly good) public transport, and is a $20 or more taxi ride to the city. Finding a nice wine locally was also a bit of a challenge, but for simple food items and beer the store in the same building sufficed.
Car parking in house and inexpensive. Aldi supermarket downstairs was handy. Some nice restaurants close by such as The Newmarket.
Fake Molton Brown toiletries! Balcony was grubby. Decor a bit tired and room didn't smell fresh.
4 person units but only 3 comfortable chairs.
Helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, quietness of the apartment and the amenities of the deluxe apartment
TV selection and quality of the picture could be better, but other than that no faults...
good bed great bathroom
some cutlery missing some spoons put away dirty
Melbourne was freezing when we visited, so it was perfect that Apartments Ink had just the right heating available.
Everything. Personal balconies. Bed was great.
Shower-well you can't have everything.. A little weak and a little fungus
