Staff very accomodating. Location excellent.
Clean, comfy, convenient
The apartments were spacious, well presented, clean and perfectly located for accessing the trains, trams and local attractions. Instructions were easily understood for after hours access. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location and space, nicely furnished, loved the original etchings.
Couldn't open bedroom windows, got stuffy. Air con very hot, had to keep turning off and leaving balcony door open. Pillows too high, need a few flatter ones. Fresh milk and more tea bags would be good.
The lay out of the room was nice and spacious and everything was very modern and clean.
The front desk lady wasn't particularly welcoming at all, the sheets were really uncomfortable, the room was incredibly dim lit, and we didn't get a balcony like we were told we would.
The large comfortable rooms and the handy location. The staff were very nice.
The washer dryer was too inconveniently complicated to use. No reception staff or concierge available after about 5pm. A little spooky late at night in the massive foyer area.
The hotel was so central to shopping, transport and local attractions were within walking distance. The apartment we had was very quiet considering you were in the centre of the city with the tram right outside. The privacy between apartments was great - we hardly saw or heard anyone else. The quality of the furnishings was great value for the cost of the apartment. Having a balcony was a lovely bonus.
The size of the gym was the only negative - a second treadmill, towels available and a little more space would be perfect.
Size of apartment. I love how the TV swings round so you can view from every area in the apartment. Lots of towels and well stocked kitchen facilities, wish there was a pair of scissors tough. Comfy beds and the quietest room I've ever stayed in! Would recommend to everyone.
Not fond of the shower over the bath, but OK.
Location was excellent.
No inclusive Wifi. The in house offer was very expensive.
The bathroom and kitchen were dirty and had to be cleaned before we used it. Not something you expect when paying for accommodation.
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Air con was great. Nice and cosy on cold wet days.
Address is Collins Street but front gate is in Queen next to the IGA store. Bit confusing on arrival. Hot water runs out after one short shower. Lots of stairs in loft apartment #114 Couldn't hear the fire alarm from room 114: but did hear guests running down the fire stairs the other side of the bedroom wall: false alarm.
It was quiet for being in the CBD, Felt very safe with the security, Comfortable and clean. Exactly what we wanted. The car parking was just around the corner and reasonably priced.
Comfortable, good location, clean.
Lack of staff present. Also the bar/restaurant area being unused seemed a waste.
Great location in CBD. Easy access to lanes, southbank, etc. Beautifully refurbished common areas. Good sized apartment very well appointed.
Suite was looking a little tired, carpet stains, cupboard door corners delaminating, marks on bathroom vanity tiles.
Close to Southern cross railway station. Clean good sized room.
No signage on Collins St face. No staff after hours - while we were not personally affected there were other guests that we were trying to help with much difficulty. Being evacuated at 1am due to a false fire alarm.
Great location, and excellent facilities, will certainly stay here again.
The location of the hotel was great because it was right near the trams. There was a lot of space in the room. Good value for money. Was also great having an IGA right outside the entrance.
I felt like we were ripped off because we thought when the description said self contained we were expecting an oven/stove. However there was only a microwave. The reason we went with this apartment was because if was self contained. Apart from this, it was great
The room was large and nicely decorated.
The television was the smallest flat-screen TV I've ever seen. As the room was very large, it was impossible to watch the TV unless you were standing right in front of it. When we arrived, it was broken. This was fixed when we told the front desk of the problem. The air-conditioning kept heating up during the night, no matter how low we set the thermostat. The toilet flooded twice, so the bathroom floor was awash. This was attended to promptly when I told reception of the problem.
The location is good, very convenience to city center and southern cross station. The building itself is very traditional with history, it's a old treasury building with Old Australian Bank.
The bathroom facilities are poor, the water temperature cannot be adjusted to suitable level, either too cold or too hot. The room key management is at high risks, we entered into our booked room with another guest already in the room. It's almost dangerous!!
I had a back room with out a view - but it was quiet and I was able to sleep well. Stayed 7 night - great to be able to wash cloths day 3!
Some maintenance required in the lobby hall way leading to elevator. also elevator got stuck one evening.
The location was excellent & the property was great value for money. Tram stop was a 2 minute walk. We were on the 6th level but the room was still reasonably quiet for Central Melbourne. I would have preferred 2 single beds in the 2nd room for my kids but the staff made up the sofa bed so they didn't have to share & this worked fine. We would stay here again.
Service, bed and pillows, location
Fridges too small, no shower in second bathroom
It is exactly in the city center and this makes the stay much comfortable. There is a good kitchen equipment and a washing machine. Very quite and comfortable
If you look for a company forget it, I have not seen a single person in the building that is not in use unless for apartments. My room was facing a wall and it was 24 hrs dark
The size if the room, the bed, the location, the comfort, the price
Towels were a bit old and hard; reception staff called me a taxi, asked me to wait for 10 or 15 minutes, then told me the taxi wasn't coming and I should hail one from the street
